Upgrade to an R.... although the mirrors keep falling off! (even with locktight lol) Only got 2600km out of OEM tire whew ... Just as well its going to be turned mainly a track bike!
ditch the mirrors, they are downright ugly....then again I don't know the laws in your neck of the woods

What year is your bike? A 2012? My 12 base has had one issue after the next. I will be selling it for sure after the 2 year warranty runs out.
My wiring harness that goes to BBS unit under the seat was shorted up against the frame. The dealer finally found the problem and took the harness apart and fixed. Something behind the harness where you cannot see rubs and shorts it out. You can move it around and it will quit for a while but then hit a bump and it will start back. Have them check the harness.

That is very scary indeed, considering that's where our exhaust manifold is close too.
I rerouted and re-wrapped my wiring when I installed the tail-tidy and the full termi. Looks like I'll be checking on them again when I remove my upper cylinder cover.

2012 Base model and just like you....one problem after the next. However, I am going to keep mine. There is an $1100 option to get another 3 years worth of warranty. I am sure I will get it all sorted out by then....right?!!
