Who has WON more Super bike championships than Foggy - in the entire history of time thus far ?
Now, back to the thread. Anybody seen any articles concerning Carl Fogarty's opinion of the 1199 Panigale ?
Good reply I like it...! But sorry not seen anything, possibly a really small clipped in one of the MCNs in the uk but can't remember which one sorry.
And yes Foggy is a legend...

Don't really care on his own attitude, or yours he is still a legend and you can't take that away from him... Just like Cal Crutchlow will be in Moto GP, watch this space...

And what does that have to do with it? Fogarty was a fantastic rider but he's by no means the greatest. IMO.

Yawn, I never said he was the greatest! But you cannot say he wasn't a legend... That was what I was saying... Opinions... Not sarcasism! Like a few above... And by saying I think he is a legend doesn't mean anything but my opinion and certainly doesn't mean I've won any WSB... Just don't think Foggy deserves a slating from anyone, opinion yes, slating, no.
Who knows though, if I was racing from the age of 5, then yes possibly I may of won a WSB or two, but no I've been busy doing other stuff, sorry...

What are you on about at all? And how does it have any relevance to what I said! I said he's not the greatest racer of all time and nobody really thinks he is. I didn't say he wasnt good or that I won any WSB races. In fact nobody here said he wasnt good. Weird reply and obviously based on the Crutchlow comment you are getting your knickers in a knot because I said a British rider isnt the best ever.
And before you cry again, I like Crutchlow

O and I normally go commando, unless it's a special occasion then I may wear nickers, on a night out, if that's what really turns you on! << clearly a joke just in case you ever start taking me seriously...!

At least you responded to my question rather than using unsubstantiated opinion to challenge the basis of my opinion, thus wasting my time and yours .. so your response was more helpful than many of the other posts.
I stated the fulcrum of my opinion and that being : Carl Fogarty is considered the greatest rider of all time - due to his winning track record which exceeds that of any other rider to date. This is the basis of my opinion. Considering he previously rode for Ducati, it naturally lends itself to the curiosity of what his opinion of the 1199 Panigale is.
In addition, the folks in the UK appear to have first hand information regarding 1199 Panigale.
