I’ll need my oil changed at 7,500 miles at the dealer a few months before the annual service date at 4/15/2022. Will the 7,500-mile service cancel out the annual service on the ECU or will the service light come back on once April 15th comes along? I already changed the oil and filter in my driveway at the halfway point between first service and the 7,500 mile service, but I want them to do the 7,500 mile service because I have the extended warranty contract.

I‘m asking because the dealer is a long trip from home for me. Thank you. :)

If it’s like the 1199 the light only comes on for major service, yearly services is for piece of mind more $$$$.

The service writer in Greenville stated the the time clock starts from the date 621/1000 (or previous) service. I've rolled past the 7.5k mileage mark without a dash notice so I hold that to be true.

I had my service done around 7k because I had a daily dash countdown based on the date of my 621 service. Once I rolled past 7500 a week or so later, no further indications came on so I think you should be good.
