Made mine

Cause i'm in Slovenia at the moment with the silly postage costs and then buying the rad guards I had a go and made mine from ally mesh and a rubber push on surround. Does the job and looks OK, cost about 20 euros and couple of hours. They clip into place. I might solder on the fixing plates as I tried out the Durafix rods and they are mega strong, why? because I riveted them on as can be seen in the pics. The top one is made the same dont have a pic, if anyone wants to see I can take one!

Thats a great job mate.

Agreed. Looks top notch mate! (I dont think I've ever called someone that in my entire life!) Lol. Curious- do you guys say that all the time within a sentence the way we say "man, dude, bro, etc?" Just wondering how often its used thats all.

School me Aussies, or is it a Brit term? .... I've done confused the hell outta myself now!

I am thinking if it stays in place, protects your radiator, it's a good one. I like the pattern of the R&G. I coincidentally just got an email they are approved for British bikes and the BSB. Which is good to know next I take my Pani to the UK.

I am having Cox put on. I like the look so I will be happy & many will frown at the time it takes.

Ducati only sells the lower one. It can be found in the DUCATI Performance catalogue. It's the EVOTECH one.
It's part number 97380101A.

There's no real need for the upper radiator guard from EVOTECH, as you'd be pretty unlucky to take a hit up there. But it has been known to happen;)

Go and order it through your DUCATI dealer at your convenience. The price is about the same as going through EVOTECH.

Cheers:)

That's what I said to my tec then he showed me a panigale with a hit to the top one! So of course when he told me the price of replacing rad yep I bought!

Well done a true English man! Have a go yourself for less £
You came good my boy!

Installing R and G next weekend. I know it's a pita but it's the best looking and my Tri is worth it

Mate, we say it all the time.

Have a lot of you guys got holes thru your radiator? Wondering if this is something I need to look into.

I've spent lots of time on the track and even more offroad. No holes. Yeah, people get 'em, but .... if I haven't ever seen anything even close to a punctured radiator on all kinds of bikes/all kinds of miles. I did recently install the Evotech....but 23,000 miles (before install) or so of all kinds of stupid .... and I never had a problem.

This was my lower radiator after few thousand kilometers and before Evotech install.
