Rear Ride Height

Hello Guys,

I want to know if anyone has experience and measurements using the Corse Dynamics ride height tool for setting ride height on a 1299?

Jarel built me a special rear shock so I can't use shock length as a reference.

Does anyone have a range that the height is suppose to be?

The original recommendation we got from Ohlins on the 1199's back in 2012 from World Superstock was 217mm using the Ducati Corse ride height tool. I "think" the corse dynamic is a copy of the Corse tool, so should be the same. That seemed low to me. After doing the Mupo setup and getting with the Mupo engineer from the Barni WSBK team, their recommendation was 228-234mm. I ran 230 on my 1199R frankenbike and that seemed to work well with the swingarm length set to 548mm, which was the longest I could get it using the 899 swingarm. Mupo's recommendation was 552-554mm for the swingarm length with the single-sided swingarm.

228 sounds familiar. I just never took a base measurement when I switch the the new shock set up. I want to take it just to see where I am. I don't want to start adjusting suspension setting and playing until I have the basic geometry right so I actually know which direction to move in.
