And now let's get back to the ride report! More first person impressions, please.

Oh yeah.. thats what this thread was about.. :p

If that's the case, I'm getting my deposit back.

Hell, I can't remember the last bike I had that came with a fuel gauge. The last several had the same light or prior to that I lifted the lid and looked at how much fuel was in there. My dirt bike has no gauge and that's how I check for fuel amount.

People used to get around on horse back... so whats your point??

We ride them up north as well, except we feed them some of the mushrooms that grow in the paddocks around here.....makes them act more like sportsbikes:D

Is that a grass/mushroom mix or straight mushroom? I have been finding Sir Walter grass much better than straight Couch. Adding some mushroom might help some more.

I will await further advice.

Straight mushrooms...as soon as they start turning blue you know you have picked the right ones:D

blue meanies and the odd gold top if I recall rightly but some take it with grass as well makes for a real horticultural experince makes all that cooking on telly look rubbish

The odd gold top......We had that many this year it was like wall to wall carpeting.
Dont know about feeding them the grass as well.....It would be like riding a bike that is running out of fuel:D

I bet the yanks believe the .... too. The Canadian's are just too busy clubbing seals to think about anything else.

I've done a few tanks on mine now and and the fuel light comes on at 12 ltrs like clockwork. Also a new trip is started on the dash to show distance since the light came on. It does seem crazy that you can have a level indicator at 5 litres and an MPG / MPL indicator on the display but no range or tank level indicator. But to be honest I've always routinely set my trip computer on my bikes when filling up and that works fine. During the run in period I've been getting 95-100 miles before the light comes on. So range is around 130ish. Anyone's guess where it will be once the revs climb.
