simple formula:

money + technology + experience + rider + luck = championship

for yamaha and honda it is on a scale of 1-10:

10+10+10+10+X=40...50

for ducati it is:

8+8+8+10+x=34...44

CRT: mid 20s

so it is VR, JL, MM this year on top

that is the bet mr young r. if rossi wins i have to change my dog avatar to a rossi winning avatar. plus get the monster hat with the bright yellow 46. the picture was not part of the bet but i will do that too. its in the moto gp store.
cant wait for stoner to race in at least 2 this year as a wild card.

not a JLO fan capt come on you know as of last year i like MM 93. i root for spies and hayden to do well (they wont) and hope everyday that stoner comes back to win championships. ANYWAY here is the hat

when rossi dosent win you can send me a MM hat or a stoner hat. i like my hats fitted im a 7 1/4 or the flex fit will do. Any of you aussies can get me some stoner stuff it would be appreciated. nothing here in the states

The yam is at its very best and so is jlo.. Let s hope for the battle MM and dp can bring the honda to parr and won t have to ride around a problem as they did in quatar. You don t win races on loose bikes .. Rossi did a great job on a better bike . Don t think he would have done better than mm on the honda .. That bikewas all over the place in the last laps ..

This is a great thread. I can't believe everyone is counting Pedbot out of it after one race. And i'm not going to call JLo untouchable....its been a while since somone has ran with him and bumped elbows with him (remember rossi). And Mark a thing to remember....Rossi never qualifies well. So him qualifing behind Dovi means nothing. Dovi even said the Desmo is good for about 5 laps....then it falls off the pace. Im always want Hayden or Spies to do well....but its not going to happen on the Desmo.

Lerenzo strong point is consistancy, he churns out lap time after lap time. Put somone in front of him or near him that can keep up and we will see if hes as strong as everyone is making him to be.

i dont take much in qualifying. the reason that came up is because some rossi guy was flapping his typing fingers saying rossi was fastest in jerez testing. so if he is fastest in jerez i just pointed out he was behind dovi in quatar. I just like these threads everyone has an opinion. so get on MOTO GP fantasy and pick your top 15 every race . we can compare notes at the end of the season.

Agree completely on the desmo.. I long ago gave up getting excited when it jumps out of the gate into 2nd or 4th - I know it's going to drop to a mid-pack position after 5-6 laps and end up right in front of Hayden. Also agree on Lorenzo. If you let him get away you get what you had last weekend. If there are contenders up there and he can't get a 2-3 second gap going then it's anybody's race. I'm thinking Rossi, MM and Pedrosa are the likely candidates to mix it up with him and throw a wrench into his title defense.

im not really a JLO fan i just think he will win this year. here is my order
1 stoner but doesnt race anymore so it doesnt matter
2 marc marquez been following him since the eye injury. his skill at his age is amazing
3 ben spies hes american has the worst luck and i just want to see him do well.
4 nicky hayden. american want to see him do well i feel like he has given up though because of his situation needs the fire back.

troy bayliss. i have a ducati how can i not like him
LAST BUT CERTAINLY NOT LEASET JOSH HAYES THIS MAN IS A GENTLEMAN . I met him in nj during the ama races. he invited me in the pits in his trailer introduced me to the whole yamaha team. he isnt number one cause he isnt in motogp if he were he would be no 1. i was only talking about motogp.

I WILL ROOT FOR JLO TO BEAT ROSSI THOUGH

Dude, If Rossi had a better starting grid. I believe it was 3rd. He also would have caught Lorenzo. So with that being said my friend, you just got lucky or you would be wearing that

the bet isnt for 1 race by the way. its for the season. what will be your excuse on the 19th he didnt know the track well? nobody knows the track thats why MM dominated in testing.

+1 - Spies is done, he's a mid to back of the packer like Hayden now. Look for Rossi and MM to dominate with J Lo and Pedrosa thrown in there. I am expecting a Rossi or MM win at COTA. Stoner and Bayliss threw in the towel when they saw the Doctor was headed back to Yamaha. They knew they were going to look like De Puniet out there so they decided to quit while they were ahead.
