lol, Mark in all fairness, the way you were talking about Rossi before the race, he should have been lucky to beat the CRT bikes! Maybe you got Rossi and Spies mixed up? :D

ahhh ben spies what a sad bunch of events. how can you not like the guy and pull for him. .02 seconds out to making q2 after a crash on that shoulder.

Rossi ran well had a fantastic race and i said that after the race finished. I hope he does somewhat well it will keep the season interesting but to say that JLO wasnt fantastic (consistant churning out 1:55 laps) and MM was more then impressive would mean you didnt watch the race.

+1 - Spies is done, he's a mid to back of the packer like Hayden now. Look for Rossi and MM to dominate with J Lo and Pedrosa thrown in there. I am expecting a Rossi or MM win at COTA. Stoner and Bayliss threw in the towel when they saw the Doctor was headed back to Yamaha. They knew they were going to look like De Puniet out there so they decided to quit while they were ahead.

Capt you have to get me going this early. Stoner left cause of rossi come on now. Stoner was a crash away at indy to winning back to back titles. you saw what he did in Australia nobody could touch him. However as i said before if the dog didnt stop to take a dump he would have caught the rabbit. So JLO won and stoner was 3rd i believe.

I swear this time im done on this particular thread. i will peek but not comment until Austin.

How long before Rossi or his girlfriend Burgess starts complaining about the M1? I give'em two races. Lol

Noticed during COTA weekend plenty of looking and gesturing at the front of the Yamaha in the Rossi camp.

I called it :D

"Valentino Rossi, 6th

This is a difficult track for us. We expected to do better, but I had a lot of problems in the race because I had a problem with the brakes. I had a vibration in braking because I lost one part of a disc so this didn't help. We knew that we had to defend here; we know that when we cannot attack we need to try and arrive in the top five but today it was sixth. The balance of the first two races is positive and we arrive in Jerez optimistic for the next few races as the tracks are better for us."

"Massimo Meregalli - Yamaha Factory Racing Team Director

".... Vale's team worked really hard to try and fit the bike to his riding style; they improved the bike through each practice. Unfortunately we made another step from the warm up to the race that didn't work as we expected. He also had a vibration on the front from his brakes. I think we are leaving Austin in a really good shape and we are really looking forward to the Jerez race."
