Not only his riding style is different it seems his strategy is also better. The young kid is very smart and he out smarting the other riders and has more heart in it than the other riders. He gives it a 120% all the time (Qualifying and during the race). He reminds me of a young Rossi.
 
Not a fan boy, just looking to stir some ....; seems to have worked.

I am subjective and Rossi looks every bit the champion he is. Big portion is the bike but also having the bike fit the riders style.

I am a bigger F1 fan and Vettel has 4 championships and is in the top 5 for talent, however the new car does not fit his style so his team mate leads him in the points. They will adjust the car to him but this takes time.

Same here as last year Rossi was riding a bike set up for JLO. As they adapt the bike to Rossi he is doing better. All things being equal he is in the top 5 in ability IMO.

Seems like it worked ok. All good I'll debate Rossi all day. Honestly I don't hate the guy. The fans make me hate him. Anyway I thought people didn't want to hear about it so I stopped. NOW I'm back. FYI he lost to a Ducati lol

Top 5 he's top 4. F1 fan I'm starting to get into it. Schumacher come out of the coma? I think he did I have to look it up.

...but you are basing your opinion/judgement because of other people "other fans make me hate him" and not on the rider himself?

If you think so. I think Rossi is ok but once u say he's ok the Rossi lemmings come out of the woodwork. It's like a cult. Does he pay your bills? Can't even have a conversation without then yelling at you. So I too like to stir the pot. Watching him makes me laugh he seems to be a funny guy but once the race starts all I can do is root against him. He's been back for 4 years now. If 1 win in 4 years is back ok he's back
That's my reasons. If you're from the states especially ny it's like listening to a jet fan. Always an excuse always next year always better than their record. Much like Rossi still living off of the past (nameth / 9 times champ same thing).

It's halfway after the next race. Lots of racing left. If Rossi finishes third he improved 1 spot. 1 spot where the worst he would have finished is forth. In the words of ll cool j don't call it a comeback
 
It's a come back, Marquez aside Rossi is the best rider in the field. The Ducati years sucked for him and last year wasn't so special but this season he is the only rider that has shown that he can mix it up with Marc on a regular basis.

Don't get me wrong, I won't be surprised if Marc wins all 18 races this year but you would have to be a simpleton to think that Rossi isn't the best chance to ruin Mark's perfect year.

hahahah mix it up he isnt even ahead of pedroza. he is doing the same as last year the difference is jlo melted down. if jlo was in second rossi would be in forth still right where he should be. everyone else is on an inferior bike come on man, how far do you want to go back ill give you 5 years . danni has finished ahead of him every year except for the 5th year, jlo too. that stoner guy forget about him what he did on the ducati and his first year with honda that doesnt matter. nor does the fact that he missed 3 and at indy was injured badly in 2012 and still came in third. those pesky facts. hell dovi has done better on the duc than rossi ever did and rossi barely beat nicky on the duc.

The Duc is not the same this year as it was a couple years ago. Gigi Dall'Igna has already made some improvements and they get the "Factory 2" rules this year. You can't do a direct comparison with the Duc Rossi had to what Dovi has.

another excuse then why couldnt he do better than nicky or dovi last year . you think ducati improves that quickly? if rossi wasnt at ducati, ducati wouldnt be so far behind with him and burgess bird brain moves.
 
Last year? When Rossi was struggling with setup issues on the M1? He couldn't even get hard on the brakes without bottoming-out the forks. Yamaha promised they'd fix the issue over during the off-season and the results are obvious since Rossi is currently the top Yamaha rider.

You claim J. Lo had a mental breakdown. Hhmm Lorenzo has a few bad races to start the season and he's already checking out? Rossi had multiple bad years back to back and he's still very much in the game mentally.

Marc is amazing, but lets see how long he can stay at the top before trying to throw salt on Rossi's accomplishments.

so rossi is better now how? last year he finishes second at qtar he was back he finished forth. this year he finished second same race hes back and if it werent for JLO having a terrible season rossi would be in forth again as i said same spot as last year. i also didnt mention marc once. as he is on another level. if rossi finished fifth you would say its one spot worse but that would be terrible because with the bike he is on he shouldnt finish worse than forth. all he is doing right now is beating JLO nobody else . Put it this way as bad as JLO is doing right now he is 10 points behind dovi in 5th place. a dry race where dovi finishes 8th Jlo goes back to 4th place. thats what i am saying. you cant do worse than 4th hes in third. big deal

cant deny his accomplishments right place right time he still won the races. will he be loved by fans of course. was he the best thing ever for moto gp very very possible.

here is from a recent article about rossi and how he THOUGHT he was as good as marquez

Rossi starts in optimistic mood at Mugello, but his optimism was somewhat tempered after he watched the video from Le Mans. After the race in France, Rossi had felt he was close to being able to give Marquez a run for his money. After he had watched the race on video, that optimism had faded, Rossi joked. He had thought Marquez had come back from sixth or so. He had not been aware that the Repsol Honda man had been way down in 11th at one point, and had lost a huge amount of ground in just a couple of corners.

Have you been watching MotoGP this Year?

How many times this year have Rossi and Marquez passed each other for the lead? More than Marquez and JLo, more than Marquez and Danni by a significant margin. For sure Marquez is the better rider but Rossi has been Marc's biggest challenge this year (as limited of a challenge as it may be).

Have you enjoyed watching Marquez fight with JLo and Danni? Neither has anybody else because it has barely happened.

Did I mention everyone else being on an inferior bike, etc..? I said that his last 3 seasons haven't been very good and don't recall making any excuses for his performance.

Rossi has been having a really good season so far (2nd overall), I don't understand how you can argue that?
