Aside from whether it's worth it or not, it's a pain in the ... to install.

Installed them on my bike this Winter, can ´t say if the bling factor is Worth the effort to install them, those two short hoses which you attach to the thermostat, was a real PIA!!

I put them on my bike. More out of necessity that bling or function. I had a leaky thermostat housing so while I had everything apart I replaced the hoses.

My pictures are in post 16 of this thread: http://ducati1299.com/ducati-1199/20579-project-planning-would-you-2.html#post196700

If you decide to do this get some Astroglide or KY Jelly. Water soluble lubricant. Makes it so much easier. I struggled for 4 hours trying to get those little ....... hoses on. Gave up for the night, did some research on the net, and found another gentleman commenting on water soluble lube. It worked like a charm. Put a tiny, tiny amount on the ID of the hose and it slid right on. I was done 1 hour later and flushing the coolant system. Who knew that stuff was good for something other than... lol. I'm gonna use it on my intercooler for the car the next time I have that ..... off.

another way if you don't have airbox off is use a strong tape like cellotape and wrap it around them to allow you easier leverage to pull them little short ones on ! believe me its saved my knuckles!!!! after they are on and clamped simply take the tape off
