Seat height suspension adjustment

In dropping the bike you are screwing with many things...even if you drop it equally the wheelbase has lengthened and that alone will affect the bikes geometry...

Depends on how much of course, and moving it a few mm either way around stock is not going to have drastic effects in a street environment, which I assume is where the OP's running his. Would definitely concur about avoiding doing a big drop. As for lengthening the wheelbase with an equal drop, keep in mind that as the rear length grows longer with a flatter swingarm angle, the front length shrinks when you slide the tubes up in the triples. Probably not much more wheelbase change in it than a gross chain adjustment using the built-in range of ride-height adjustment on the Pani.

Again, you simply can't get the front down more than about 6mm without parts hitting that you don't want to hit, which means the rear is limited to about the same unless you're willing to foul up the handling. At which point one has to consider why they have a Pani, if handling is a secondary concern.

That's when you hop off the bike and walk it. Other short people manage without dropping their bike.

I'm sure they do, but the smarter short people will adjust the bike to suit them rather adjusting themselves to suit the bike.

Not everything is about wringing ten tenths out of the bike
Many would prefer to sacrifice 10% performance/handling to gain 100% confidence from comfort..

For 99% of Pani owners, I would be surprised if a .5 degree slacker head angle and 10mm difference in ground clearance equates to any difference in lap times at the track let alone any tangible difference on the road.

If you want to adjust your seatheight...there is an adjustment nut and lock nut right before the rear spring preload adjuster ring. That is where you adjust to lower or raise your seat height. Do not touch any rear shock linkage....just that adjustment nut and lock nut. Thats it.

Note: Lowering your ride height (lower than stock settings) slows your steering while lifting it (higher than stock settings) quickens it... and adds instability to the bike.

Can u send a image of what is looks like thanks

🥲 I won't know if I don't ask🥲

The other guy is talking about adjusting shock length and its not really a seat height adjustment.

It's the blue nut and the silver one next to it. If you have the Sachs (non-Ohlins) shock, you won't have this adjustment anyway.
