Hi guys,

if you have any pictures of screenshot what it looks like on our dash of 600 miles service, please share.

I think there is some program online, maybe be able to access to reset feature from the laptop.

however, you might need to get an adaptor; see link

my miles are coming up; I will tackle this task and will update any info I can ascertain.

cheers~

(if anyone is feeling nervous doing this reset; please go to the dealer for your service, not a thread to debate what you should do, this is a self-help thread if anyone is interested)

Hi TsaiCo,
I am extremely interested in the solution for this issue. I am not sure whether the Ducati service reminder will pop up based only on mileage or also based on time. If it pop up based on time, then someday it will show the service alert on my dashboard eventhough I am not riding my bike. Also, if I am not mistaken, for pre 600 miles bike, the rpm will turn yellow at above 6,000 rpm and I would love to be able to reset this. I will be waiting for your update.
Thanks

From the reading I've done, it appears this interface cable: Diagnostic Interface for MelcoDiag TuneECU DDA with the M3C software (jpdiag) will reset service codes on the V4. I'm ordering it up to give it a try. I'm pretty excited about this. I didn't think there was anything working with the V4 yet.

Thanks for the information ArcticWhite and your willingness to pioneer the effort. I am also looking forward to hear your success story.

is it me; or was program is in French? plus, i was going to register it, it said something about the blue button....

no blue button insight...except the home button...and sends me back to homepage...

Yes, I had already downloaded it to see what is available, but can't get to the Test/Reset tab without registering & can't register without being connected

There is a blue button on the software that is used to get a license key for the software. You read some data from your bikes ecu, email it and they give you a software key for your specific bike.

Also, the program isn't fully set up for the V4 so some functions just give you gibberish. But supposedly the service reset and tps reset work.

Hi TsaiCo, is this what you're after? I'm booked in for Thursday.

Main display simply shows the "Service" oil can...

The Settings > Service display doesn't show anything that indicates the 1000km (600m) service...

thanks for the headway...i was having problem even downloading, and installing in "French"? is that correct?

So...I’m at 560ml....resetting the computer service reminder might take place next month.

Changed my oil today

Few hints aside from two videos I saw on youtube.

1. Mark your oil filter position; the direct the cover came down and that’s how the cover goes up.

2. When screwing in the m8 bolts( as suggested by other members) to remove filter cover, I went ahead and count the turns I made on the screw/socket I used. so the filter cover detached slowly pushed away from the oil pan.
See picture how it detached.

3. Get the socket M8, save you some frustration (I found a few in my spare screws drawer; but was a Philip, OMG, very awkward hand positioning)
