So what do you guys think it will be?... will it be back at 7,500 miles / 12,000 kms like the Ape (I think) or will they be able to get to to 15,000 mile / 24,000km mark.

They would be going a bit backwards if they get it back to 7,500 miles intervals.

No clue but I think it will remain same as todays Panigale. Aprilia RSV4 service intervals are 10,000 km for the oil change and 20,000 km for valve clearance check/adjustments.

wonder if splitting the cases will be more frequent and costly. horizontal vs vertical whats the pro's and con's ?

I was misinformed on the aprilia I thought it required crazy short service intervals including complete top end tear down at lower miles.

It was found out that some of the Aprilas (at least those early models) could have valve clearance out of specs already after a few 1000 km. Perhaps they were already slightly out of specs from factory. This was however not a major issue as it did not cause any damages if not 0 clearance. After adjusting them once there were usually no need for additionally adjustment later as far as I am aware of"¦

Directly from Ducati, for the 2018 Ducati V4, regarding the latest-generation Desmodromic system on the Desmosedici Stradale engine:

While performance levels surpass even those of the Superquadro, the valve clearance inspection and adjustment (Desmo Service) interval remains at 24,000 km (15,000 miles), while general service intervals remain unchanged at 12 months/12,000 km (7,500 miles).
