Hey Gommie - you're in my neck o' the woods! :D

I gotta say guys, I've been pretty much all over the world and I've yet to find ANYWHERE I enjoy riding more than the canyons of SoCal. We sure are lucky.;)

Talking of "our neck of the woods", I thought I'd share this pic I just dug up. It's my son on Bouquet Cyn just after he turned 16. All he wanted was a street bike so I got him an R6. Now I spend my spare time trying to catch up to him....
(Is that Paul Sr on the Harley?)

^+1. The roads are fantastic and the weather means you can actually ride them without getting wet every time!
 
Hey Britabroad - I'm guessing by your username you hail from a simillar neck o' the woods as me. Good.... I can use words like "chuffed" and "munter" and at least one person from our region will understand :D

Just got back from a business trip and read this, I guess I am not alone, Well chuffed about that :D Ain't this bike the dogs?!?

I try and avoid AC - too many po-po's.

Plenty of other good roads around socal.....

I called Proitalia about it and they told me to wait till my first service at 600 miles.

i got my up Map a couple weeks ago at Pro Italia, what a fantastic difference it made in the ridability of the bike.

Going to take it in this week to Proitalia. I wanna see how big of a difference this upmap is.
