If I disconnect this switch, and never try to start it in gear will it work, be better, or offer any advantage?
I wouldn't recommend doing that. If your bike stalls your forced to put it back in neutral before u can start it up again. A bit dangerous when your in the middle of an intersection or at a stop light.
It is possible but u need to bypass the clutch switch. I have red about people connecting the horn button to act as the clutch switch so if you need to start up the bike again while in gear just press the horn. But in my opinion your just making things complicated and you are more likely to screw things up. Stay save, don't disable the clutch switch.
