Update: 08/31/2020
Motocorsa is still working on building my bike. All the parts have been ordered, details have been ironed out, and work is underway. If you've seen the 2019 Nicky Hayden Tribute V4 then you have an idea about what my bike will be.

I've always been a fan of The Kentucky Kid. It was a shame and a big loss when he died. When I first saw the bike that Motocorsa built, I was blown away by the livery. There were several things I didn't like, and apparently I wasn't alone because the bike never sold. I came to an agreement with Motocorsa to purchase the Farings, engraved triple clamp, and fuel tank from them to be installed on my new bike. My new bike will be the new Nicky Hayden Tribute bike, and will be what I feel it should have been all along.
It will be a V4S, it will have the 520 superlite conversion, the track DTC Evo2 ECU flash, full Akra system, Desmoworld clear clutch cover with gold spinner, Futurismoto tail tidy and mirror block-offs, Rizoma and Ducati Performance bits hanging all over it, Custom embroidered Luimoto seat cover, Bonamici rear sets and levers, and it will have the sweet looking Rotobox Bullet carbon fiber wheels. There is a long list of other custom parts and details and I have a friend who is going to help me create a YouTube video of it once it's done so you can all check it out.
Shahin Alvandi, the new GM at Motocorsa, has kept me updated on a weekly basis, been totally transparent, and going to the dealership has become what it always should have been when I first bought my new 2018 V4S. Tomorrow marks 3 months since my bike was stolen from the dealership. I'm probably looking at another month before everything is wrapped up.
As an aside, my new bike was "sold" to me and I signed the papers on July 30, 2020...Nicky Hayden's 39th birthday. Also, it will have an awesome custom Nicky Hayden themed license plate (to be revealed later) and Eddie Slepika, owner of Bent Metal Customs in Beaverton, Or (You can find him on Facebook) was the painter of these Farings. Interestingly, he was the one who painted the tank on the last bike I had.
This has been a very stressful process, no lie, and topping it off with being out on the road working on the helicopter for the last 2 1/2 months (with a few more weeks to go) hasn't made it much easier.
I'll report back when I have another update. Thanks for reading.
