well, he's a retired racer with too much time on his hands and the only thing fast in his life right now is his mouth ;)

i'd like to see'em all racing in a class like this though.

Let's turn him loose at Philip Island with a 600 HP Desmo and see how long it takes before he breaks something (either records or body parts). :)

Cockey little man. Don't get me wrong hes fast. But Marc is killing his records. Maybe he should just be humble and appreciate what he had or man up and come back

Stoner should do the IOM TT ..then I would have more respect for him and his opinions...

Gas man, he couldn't handle a 990 four stroke with no aids, spent most of his time on his arse in the gravel if memory serves. 750 2T would probably kill him.............

No way he's going to come back, not a chance, not with Marquez around. He all but had a gentleman's agreement with Lor. and Ped. ie none of that rough racing business. As a time trialist he was absolutely brilliant. The different type of pressure that comes with paint swapping and fairing bashing he just isn't cut out for, can't handle the rough stuff hence all the hissy fits in the past...

he would beat rossi at PI this year with no problem

I see Rossi is blaming his height and weight for his problems now, saying he has to back the power off too much near the end of a race to conserve fuel.
Seems strange that it hasn't been mentioned before.
I think his real problem is that rider aids have taken away the advantages he used to enjoy and therefore he has nothing left in the locker....

They sampled his telemetry from one particular corner back in the olden days. From corner entry to the bike coming out of said corner. He covered 20/30 meters or whatever it was in .895 of a second (or something in that region), during which he made 13 throttle adjustments alone.... Riders have aids to help them with that now.

Up shot from here on is we'll never really know for sure whether it's rider or aids that get the credit :(
