I have finally managed to find a mint Streetfighter 1098S which has been sitting in a garage for years with very little use. I bought it a few days ago and have a question that my local Ducati dealer couldn't answer.
The bike has the Termignoni Carbon slipons cans (Not the full system) and the dashboard flashes "SF RACING" when bike is switched on. This should indicate that the racing ECU is also present.
Question is: Are the Termignoni ECUs different whether you got the full system or the slipons?
The reason I ask is that I plan on installing the Termignoni downpipes so it's a full system and want to ensure I have the appropriate brain.
I recall that they used to be the same, but at some point it changed and for the newer bikes e.g. Streetfighter V4, the software flash is different whether you have just the slipon or the full race system.
