I’m thinking about getting a 2nd bike. Something fun and a little more suited for the street. I live in Georgia so decent mountain riding 45 mins away. Any thoughts on one vs the other? Perhaps an odd comparison but both appeal to me. I loved my V2 before I traded it for the V4SP. Thanks.

I would guess you would feel more in the bike on the SFv2 vs on the bike on the Hyper. Just from the standpoint that the SFv2 is a naked Pani V2 with bars above the triple instead of clipons below, and the Hyper is very much supermoto style.
I have a SFv4S and a Hyper 950 base and the feeling is more different than the difference in feeling between the SFv4 and Pani V4

Your riding style will be the deciding factor, go to your nearest dealer and test ride the Hyper and a SFv4 to get some bit of viewpoint

Unfortunately my local dealer is a pain in the ass the deal with so test rides aren’t as easy as they should be. I’ve developed a relationship with a dealer in Tennessee who have been great, but it makes simple stuff like test rides a bit of a hassle. Anyway, great recommendations and I’ll certainly see if they have both in stock. Thanks.

@WyldCFH Is dead on, had a 959/Pani R on the street and the fun factor on the Hyper is the same at 1/2 the speeds, which is a way better equation on multiple fronts. Fun on track but once in triple digit speeds the wind starts trying to tear ya off.

My previous bikes were a 1199s and ktm smc690 smcr which is similar to the Hypermotard as it is a supermoto bike. I had a similar dilemma and went for the supermoto as my second bike. I purchased it as it seems like it would be more fun ripping around local streets etc but I just found it to be too small of a bike and anytime I had to hit the highway for anything you literally get tossed around. This time around I got the streetfighter v4s for ripping around the streets and will be getting a Panigale V4S soon for higher speeds. For me this setup works better.
