I’ll be close to my two years of ownership with almost 20k kms on the bike without any issues .Bike had Akrapovic slip ons with tune installed by dealer from day 1 ….Akrapovic’s tune for Ducati.
Since warranty is over now …I can think of a tune .Just wondering which is the most reliable tune on this platform?Open flash tablet,Brentune,Upmap ? Please let me know if I’m missing any and also if I should leave the bike the way it is?

Torque is limited in the first 4 gears. On the 2022 and later bikes there is a new engine mode to remove the torque limits in every gear but first. I can't imagine its useful for anything other than hooligan .... or a 4th gear dyno run.

I'm certainly no expert on track riding or being at the razors edge, but torque limiting is a better way to ensure traction than waiting for the bike to slip, for that slipping to be detected and then cut the power. With the 2021 and later bikes there was a revision to DTC in which the torque limiting was better mapped to keep things in check where one would be in the rev range on corner exits. I think most people would be faster leaving the limits in place. If you want to drag race on the highway, maybe not, but I doubt people buy these particular bikes for that use.

Just exploring…people say torque is limited in first 3-4 gears…is it correct ?

Torque is for sure limited up and including 4th gear an all Streetfighter V4 models. It is the case also on the Ducati Performance Mappings available for the Akrapovic Slipon and Full system. A properly unrestricted and optimized Tune completely transforms the bike.

Bren Stage 2 removes the torque limits per gear. First is then a terrifying and guaranteed wheelie shot to the moon if you grab a fist full over 9k. Even with DWC2.

My .02, get the Ducati Perf Tune and leave it stock. My buddy and I did 3rd to 5th gear rolling runs, both were 22's. One was stock and one has the Duc tune. By the time 5th was done it was 6 or so car lengths.

Was the buddy stock and from your first paragraph I'm guessing you're on the Bren stage 2 tune?
