Swappable parts from our 1199 to 1299

What about rearsets?
I want to go with some fixed-peg aftermarket rearsets, but don't want to drop $1,300 or some .... like that on them. Will the aftermarket ones (Driven, Woodcraft, etc) from the 1199 work on the 1299?
And will the clutchless up/downshift still work?
What about setting the bike up for GP shift? I assume the sensor will need to be swapped?

Will this Akra exhaust for the 1199 fit the 1299 (and is it the same ID)?

Rearsets do fit, and upshift/downshift will work, but yes, sensor needs to be swapped for GP shifting - not sure if it'll be as seamless as before. Someone try it before me and let me know :~)>

not all rear sets carry over
2 things I want to point out so hope this helps.
I bought a 2015 1299 Panigale S.
The full Akro race exhaust system from 1199 does fit on the 1299. Melillimoto installed mine.
I ordered Woodcraft rear sets. The right side (brake side) fits, no problem. The left side (shift side) does NOT fit. There is a screw that sticks up vertical on the back side of the frame spar. This area was thickened/gusseted on the 1299 so the Woodcraft won't fit up. Eric Wood will simply need to modify it.
So, it was some good news and some bad news. But, Eric will fix it.

I had been led to believe that the diameter of the piping was different and that they had changed a couple of the bends in the 1199 Aka. If you are correct, we can all save about $1,500 by going with the non-Ducati Akra. They want $5,000, plus tax and I am not paying that on general principle.

For anyone that wants to know the termis for the 1199 will not fit!
Side note shifttechs swingarm protector and carbon fiber rear hugger no problems on the 1299S

The screw on the posterior side of the frame spar contacts the shift side rear set. I'm going to see if I can lathe out some of the material on the inside of the backing plate that bolts up to the frame. I guess that Woodcraft will just reshape it. I'm trying to download a picture for you guys to see.
Yes, the 1199 Akro full race system fits my 1299 S and seems okay to me. I won't really know until I see a dyno run. I've never owned a Ducati before this so I'm trying to get used to it. Seems awesome to me but again, I've never raced a Ducati so I can only say the system fits, sounds great, and pulls like an ox. Termi systems are awesome. Leo Vinci systems are awesome. I'm just thanking my lucky stars that Melillimoto was kind enough to tell me the 1199 Akro system would fit. But again, there may be a horsepower/torque difference between the new Akro system and the 1199 Akro system. However, if you would've seen my stupid grinning face under the helmet when I was riding you would definitely know I wouldn't know the difference.

Oh damn, that is seriously bad news...for a couple of reasons.
1. It means every company will have to go back to the drawing board on their rearsets, which undoubtedly will come with an increased price due to the additional R&D and exclusivity. Which is sad, because I remember when I bought rearsets for my '06 Gixxer and '06 R1, $500 for rearsets was almost unheard of. Now some of these are approaching (and even OVER) $1000 in some cases.
2. It means a delay until we can get aftermarket rearsets...which sucks because I will likely be gridding up my 1299S almost immediately.
