Ok, if you like. The same applies to the rear hugger; minor adjustments required. Both were on my 1199s both are now on my 1299s. Swapped!

It might only fit if you use the entire upper/mid fearing (including front fearing braket) of the 1299 on a 1199. The lower fearings are identical.

I have an 899 with the full Akra exhaust which I plan to install on my recently ordered 1299 S. I ran the Akra with no up map on the 899. I only installed an Air Sprint filter and that combo was working great. There was quite a difference when I installed the Sprint filter a month after running only on the Akra's

If you order an Akra system from Ducati you will get an up map on a USB stick but you can not order these USB's separately. Or can you? Will I need this to get the best out of my bike or will it work perfectly fin as on my 899?

I'm about to upgrade from my 1199S to a 1299S end of July/early August and was wondering which parts I already purchased were swappable.

Already figured out that:
- DP Racing Screen is not swappable (due to different mounting holes)
- DP Racing Seat should be swappable (or only the comfort seat? correct me if I'm wrong)

I was wondering if the following parts are swappable and if any of you have any info:
- Ducabike clear clutch cover
- Evotech fender eliminator
- Evotech radiator guards (upper and lower)

Anyone knows if the blipper can be reversed to racing pattern? Or do I need to buy a new shift rod and reversed sensor like on the 1199S? My dealer couldn't find one for the 1299S in the DP catalogue though!?

Any info highly appreciated!
 
Also still waiting for the answer on fuel tanks, are they swappable?

Firstly thanks for the post,

I'd just like to clarify, I have an 1199 and is looking at replacing the OEM fairing with after market fairing in order to use on the track without fear of destroying the original pieces,
So are you saying I can order a 1299 tailpiece and it will work on the 1199 subframe?
 
The lower side fairings are identical. I got a used lower 1199 fairing to modify for my bursig center stand and it fits the 1299 perfectly.

You can remove your 1299/panigale R subframe and front fairing stay and replace with 1199 style and then run your 1199 track fairings on your 2015.

I'd imagine all the hush hush is them wanting you to buy new stuff from them, have them put it on yada yada yada. They just want $$$$.

I'll enjoy doing all the aftermarket installs on my bike!

I just bought a 1299. And I want to race it. there is a local store selling 1199 fairings. Would I need to buy a 1199 1199 subframe and fairing stay??
 
Hi Guys, does anyone know if the passenger pegs and brackets as well as the passenger seat from the 1299 will fit my 1199? Thanks in advance.
