Seriously, this seems WAAAY too good to be true.. If it's legitimate, then I'm in... $66 for shipping to the USA.

The slipons are around $2K US, but the ads sometimes say full for some reason. You'll pay more for the headers.

No idea as I live in a Akra-free county! It did take 10 lbs off my bike, always a good thing - it it sounds awesome!

A ten pound reduction for slip-ons is pretty impressive. What exhaust were you running prior to installing these? How does the sound from this unit compare?

I weighed the stock, and they are 16lbs (with the flapper control solenoid). The sound is much better, not too loud as I was worried. It pops now sometimes when I use the shifter. It just seems to rev faster. I took it on club ride a week ago, and had it up to 155 on some straights. The noise seem to go away over 80, or at least smooths out. I haven't compared it against anything yet, but another rider said it is similar to other Termis.

Now I'm completely confused! A full Ti termignoni system for half of the price for an Akra?!?

Seems too good to be true.

But bellissimoto quoted me $2000.00 for the new full termi system as well. If it's true the akra that comes with my new R will enjoy sitting in my storage cage and I'll be running this system for sure.

tell him he's dreaming

(for our US brethren, its a quote from a funny Australian movie called 'The Castle')

full 300

guys, its the 300 sbk Termi that was dropped/nicked when Corse switched to Akra for pure commercial reasons..

its still the best exhaust around as i ve been saying for the last year.

But : for the 15 series R , the ecu is now built to be run with an AKRA and there is no map for the Termi. As there is no Mitsubishi SSTK ecu anymore ( sstk is now Magnettui Marelli ) the Mitsu does not only no longer contain a termi up map ) the redo of the stock Mitsui ecu needs a looooad of work as the mapping is now connected to the AWC, DTC, ABS going through the gyro .... a complicated matter.... its has been tried to stick the Temri on the Akra mapping but it is far from optimal...

Surely can't be that cheap though.
A rapidbike or power pomander will sort it out. Be a total waste to not put togeather a custom map with a 300+ system and new air filter.

now i'm seeing a FULL titanium exhaust from Termignoni for the 1299 (and 899 and 1199). no price yet, as it doesn't ship for 15 days, supposedly, but...

CARBON FULL EXHAUST RACING EVOLUZIONE TERMIGNONI - DUCATI PANIGALE 1199 - 899 - 1299

how is it possible that NO ONE is talking about Termignoni at all for this Ducati superbike, and no where is there any decent info on a Termi offering? WTF? this is an Italian superbike -- aren't Termis automatic?

yo no comprendito

I have been told by a mechanic at a dealership. (Factory trained and Desmosidice certificate also). that the Termigoni system for the 1199 will NOT fit the 1299. The pipes are 60mm on the 1299 and there is no up map developed for the Termignoni system for the new electronics that the 1299 has. At this point they pretty much have us by the short hairs. The Ducati is a fine bike but they keep you pretty much in just their systems they sell. Their algorithms for the new features including the increased displacement. Engine timing etc. will make it difficult at best to remap . Fine bike but you can't do much more to it than Ducati allows. Maybe in the near future other companies will do the R&D to get a new map but not right now. Changing the exhaust to anything other than the new
Akropovic system will be dicey at best... I'm my opinion $4.000 to $5000 for an exhaust is just insane.

Speedy.

OK so, no good for the 1299

So then is this a good buy for the 1199 users and will it function properly with all the 1199 electronics?

If so, we need a group buy from Belisimotto or whoever the hell carries this ..

I would be in, but we need to be 100% sure that this is a full system and not just the cans. $2000 is suspiciously low for a complete Ti exhaust by Termi.

So what did you exactly order and from whom?

When I bought them, they were $1999:
New Front Exit Termignoni Ducati Panigale Titanium Slip-On Exhaust with Carbon Fiber cover for 899/1199/1299

You know, I weighed my stock - 16 lbs. My new slipons 6.5 lbs. Then I read somewhere the Akra's weigh 10.5 lbs less then stock pipes. So these slipons, save you about as much as the entire Akra system!

If you look at the page of my link, it implies there is an upmap (double negative don't ya know!):

This kit doesn't not include an up-map.

They want you to pull the ECU and send it in for the maps. I just returner the slipons.

I have Tuneboy, so the most I would do is use the existing slipon map - but it runs so great, I don't want to touch it!

It came with an air filter, which I installed. I. think the plan from Ducati it doesn't need one. Until someone gets this on a dyno, we won't know.
