How?

Yamaha had a pretty lame test. All eyes were looking forward to a more powerful engine. And Fabio basically told you it was the same unit.
They did test many different aero configurations.

Ducati basically played the test close to the vest. If they do have new aero improvements for the bike it seems that they do not want to show them. Copy cat aero is showing up all over the paddock. I'm guessing they were trying to sort the engine out. As in the beginning of the season they had to go to aa hybrid 21/22 engine. The 22 Engine was not ready out of the box.

Honda has really not shown much at all. Mir and Rins no comments due to contractual issues.

Alex Marquez sure did seem happy on the GP22. Interesting to see what the double WC can do on it.

For me Olivera is the wild card. I think he is a very talented rider. And he might just be getting on an Aprilla at the perfect time.

Maverick looked awesome at the test. Hoping he gets a win in 23'

I’ll believe it when I see it. They have had some unforced errors too many times through the season
No doubt!
They had some rookie type errors this season. The "eco map" on Aleix bike. Aleix not reading the pit board properly costing them a win.
I think they will benefit huge from more data having 4 bikes now. Looking at Mavericks bike at the test. It did seem to me that the front fairing was revised a bit smaller. Makes sense less air to push. Simon Crafar had a awesome (as usual) tech talk with the Aprilla team. Explaining the revised configuration of there V4 and how the angle of the V played a role in unlocking massive improvements in other areas as well.
The enjoy the Moto Gp podcast. They had Simon Crafar on the latest episode. He brought up some great points on tech.
I was particularly interested in his comments on the GP22. He went on to say how the bike does everything well and is very rider friendly. A.Marquez did make a similar comment on hoe the bike adapts to your style not having you adapting to it.

I absolutely believe Gigi will tinker with the aero. They will not show it at all. Until the last possible minute. It seems the Japanese manufacturers are copy catting the Ducati. Hence nothing will be revealed until its time. As a Ducati fan you have to admit they are in a super strong position in every sense.

For me it will be a very interesting 23' season. Bastanini will be blazing on the 23. Olivera I think will show podium potential. And I do believe Maverick will win a GP.

Love to see MM on the GP23, if little bro beats him he might just chuck his toys if Honda dont step up. That said do not underestimate Honda, they are an incredible company with huge GP depth and virtually unlimited budget, once they sort their program management they will be a major force again.

Definitely agree if MM see's Alex loving the Desmo it will be interesting.

But I gotta say. Ducati has made a major shift in thinking since Lorenzo. They now try to identify young riders with talent. Sign them early to Ducati contracts. Then put them in a team on their bikes. This allows them to grow with the bike and the team. Pecco is the success but look at Bastianini & Martin. All young all fast. Different stages of development. I cannot see Ducati handed MM a contract. Pecco solved the riders championship drought. He is still young. And I'm going to guess makes half of MM salary. So it makes no sense.

Would love to hear Alex tell Marq what his thoughts are on the GP22.

Wonder how Jack will get on w the KTM? Allegedly KTM we’re running a new chassis w BB at Valencia race

I don't know but Jack and big Binder are going to be fking hilarious in the same garage. Just gut, but I think it'll suite Jack well.
When I met him at Mugello he was clearly feeling very burned by Ducati going all Italian pilots. He wasn't the savior he was hyped to be, though, fk-me, he sure didn't have a terrible season a hair off 3rd place for the year.

This would be such a great solution for Ducati over their spastic "replace everything and everyone every year" race methodology for the last decade.
I see this relationship developing as, "Bravo Vale @ VR46 for doing all the discovery, testing, years of training and investing in the lads, we'll take the fastest one thanks."
Vale will have to get some %stake in their futures.

"Next year Quartararo and team-mate Franco Morbidelli will have the only inline-fours on the grid, while there will be 20 V4s."🖖
Fabio is a super talented rider who absolutely rides ever ounce out of that bike. And deserves all the accolades, salary for it!
But this is a business. Riders know this first hand. Their earning potential is a finite time frame. At Fabio's level he could have chosen any bike to get on. Salary be dammed. He chose Yamaha if the bike stinks or the factory under delivers well stinks to be him. But the money still goes in his bank account.
Conversely if the rider stinks and the bike ie meh........The money still goes in the riders bank account (Morbidelli)
Rider can complain all they want. The manufacturer is going to give you what they are gonna give you.

Double edged sword.
