Thinking about buying this Salvage 899....any thoughts?

its a ducati - parts are expensive and probably not worth it to fix it for the street. For a track - its a pretty good option.

I agree with everyone, the only best option is to turn it into a track bike, as long as the engine and major parts are not damaged.

To try and re-sell it, its going to be a nightmare, unless you planning on keeping it forever.

I just bought my friends 1199 insurance buy back for 5500 .2012 Base model 4k on od . Only cosmetic damage with exception of broken rearset and steering stop , he found a set of clamps on eBay for 250 . he went into grass and grabbed front brake , rookie mistake. I thought it was a sweet deal for building a track bike so I sold my pani and have a sweet track bike and no bike payment . Score !!!
