..that looks like a cracked housing to me - there should be no fluid there at all...from your pic it does not appear that it came from the weep hole, even if i can see a slight trail of pebble debris...i guess you can see it closer, but it appears to me you have a cracked housing on your hands there

Yes I posted the pic because I wanted to verify with you. Dealer was like you could bring it in but if nothing wrong then I will eat the labor cost since DNA will not pay.

And unfortunately, I think you are right in that it fluid seem to not come out of weep hole and more near the screw.

I'll post the pic when it first happened when I jump on a computer. There was more and maybe some came from weep hole.

the only way mine looked different was the fluid was enough to dribble down the side case...but it did not originate from the weep hole at all

if you get a strong enough light, and look up to the housing you may see the crack, but it may not be that easy to see, depending of course on exactly where it cracked - or you may see that it in fact originates from the weep hole evidenced by a trail stain (?)

sorry for the way the iphone sets picture orientation....but there it is...

they should look at it free of charge, as DNA gives them some flexibility when it is a customer concern over a fluid leak...they should be able to tell you if the housing is good or not, or at the very least the source of the fluid (weep hole or housing - if you cannot tell yourself) - i have not heard of the water pump seal "setting in or breaking in"...not saying can't be, but it'd be a first for me to hear it.....as far as i know, the seal either seals or it doesn't - has more fluid come out recently or have you not been using it ?

I can't post the pic of first time it happens since I'm on my iPhone but it first happened about 7 weeks ago at the track. Fairly hot like around 96 degree weather. At least that's when I noticed it so could happens earlier that day or at the track 2 weeks prior to that. I only use the bike for track. I took a pic and cleaned it.

After I watched it throughout the day and nothing new came out. Following track day, after 4 week on the 2nd day track day is the photo I posted above. So first day was fine but second day was leak. No enough to drip to the ground.

This is my Anni at 2600 miles I think...

Thats how my 1199S leaked and A&S replaced my water pump.

YoungR, it's mind-boggling that A&S wouldn't take a look at it. I guess DNA realized an engineering flaw and are only dealing with worst case scenarios.

WTF is that crap that you bike is spewing out? And that a new ANV?. Im just not gonna say it.

Kinda rusty looking coolant right?! Yeah an Anniversario with around 2600 miles I think. When I get some time I'll take it into the dealer to see what they think. I couldn't find a source just peaking in there.

The coolant they're using at the moment is a reddish, pink liquid. I'd be surprised if the head gasket is leaking, more like it's the coolant which has trickled around the edge on its way down.

Took my 2015 1299S to my dealer for its 12 month service. They noticed the water pump had been leaking a little from the weep hole (not enough to make it to the garage floor). Replaced under warranty with a supposedly updated pump so that should be that! Rode the bike home in traffic where the ambient air temp ranged from 36-40°C (that's 100+ °F for you non-metric types) and the coolant temp from 100-110°C. I think I lost a litre of fluid instead [emoji28].
