it's actually pretty easy and just takes practice.
Once you get the hang of it taking the wheels off the bike and putting em back on takes more time than changing out the tires.
The cycle hill came out after I got mine, it's more economically priced system but does basically the same thing. I went for the classic ultimate package (think it's around $850 now) as it comes with EVERYTHING you need, including the medium cones for balancing single sided swingarm wheels. You could probably get by with the cycle hill BIG package, the only thing not included I would recommend are the three clamps (make it easier to get the bead seated etc.)
http://www.nomartirechanger.com/Articles.asp?ID=257 this link gives a breakdown of what comes in each package, scroll down for the ultimate package info. Doesn't matter what package you get, if you change a lot of tires (I do) it'll pay for itself in a couple years.
One other nice thing to get from another source is a different mount/demount bar No-scufftiretool It's so much easier to use than the no mar but the no mar does work, just not as well.
Lemme know if you have more questions.
Good thing is not only do you save money but you can take better care of your wheels this way.

zvez, tell me more about these tire unmounting, mounting, and balancing packages. I am seriously considering getting one, but I've never changed and balanced a tire in my life. I'm pretty mechanically inclined so I'm not worried about learning it, but I was just wondering about the difficulty level.
Do you know the big differences between the package you bought, and the newer Cycle Hill packages?
