The full ti exhaust that comes on the 15/16 R's are all titanium except for the first 8" of each header (standard crap steel) and the Y pipe (which is cast Ti).

This is what I ment but if get the evo it's all ti

My 1st 1299 had just the slip on Akra's. The new one has the full system.

Don't care what it is made from but it is the greatest note from a bike I have ever heard.

So rogue it's full ti both the dp system and the akra evo? Can you still get the akra evo for Ducati or is that gone? It's like a 1500 difference.

ok and im not trying to be funny we have this

akra evo system no upmap

new akra that comes on the 1299 sl underseat pipes

and of course slip ons.

so the differences are what and price.

Lol price sucks period.

I look at these from a performance perspective, so I couldn't care less about them being Ti or stainless.

I won't consider the EVO as it's a smaller 68mm system. The extra volume from a standard 1299 70mm header is better.

The homologation R Akra is a step up being lighter than the 1299 system and it sounds nicer than the Remus of the 1299.

Akra slipon is a significant weight drop that flows better and sounds great plus it unlocks the upmap. This right here will give you the most out of the 1299/PaniR system.

The DP Akra full system adds ful Ti headers getting rid of the flapper valve and a measly 2 pounds. No extra power gain other than bragging rights.

So the best bang for the buck Akra setup are the slipons with the 1299/PaniR headers. Anything more is just bragging rights or we really really really need that 2 pound weight savings.

the DP system is 68 or 70 for the header

But bragging rights sure are awesome!!

Kind of surprised that's all the weight savings. Assuming you are talking about the difference between the stock stainless header with valve and ti header without. One of the days I'll get some scales.
:)

i believe the dp system is the evo except you get an upmap and it says ducati performcance its 5300 vs under 4k for the akra evo system. they seem to be exactly the same.

as twisted has said though the pipe is 68 mm vs the stock 70

same exact system. if you get the 1299 system you have to get it through an authorised ducati dealer. so just get the 1199 system

That 68mm 70mm doesn't matter at all. Even if it made a 1hp difference (which it doesn't), it's still not worth the extra $1500+ for the DP system. Get the evo, rapidbike and save yourself some money while ending up with a better overall setup.

You cannot get the Evo version from a dealer anymore. There are a still a few floating around the grey market. I would've gone the Evo route, but I couldn't pass up the DP version for $2200 from my dealer (long story).

Lol I have the original termi with race evo up map. All I know about that it's SS system there is a thread on here of a guy that weighed then both as he assembled them. I believe the pipe is 70mm

The undertail Termi has my attention as it'll make tech inspection a lot less hassle. My local tuner uses Woolich so that would work great.
