I do and the tables I've made are for the 1199, but the throttle tables could still be copied across if Wayne used the same ones for the 899 and 1199

Can you tell me which table I need to edit for hardcut rev limiter in neutral?

So long as you've got good charge you'll be fine. The flash will stall if the voltage drops below a certain value, but I can't recall exactly what it was. Pretty sure it was still over 12V though. Don't panic if it does, you can start a new flash once you have more charge in it - it won't be bricked. After putting a LiPo in I've never had to use the trickle charger during a flash, but did when the old lead acid was in it, but that was also on its way out. Pretty sure if you're at 13v you'll be fine.

Thanks for the reply
Do you remember how long a flash took?

@Disco can you tell me what I need to change exactly for the hardcut limiter in neutral?

I want the hardcut at 5376 revs
this is the table for the neutral

You'll need to first open up the tuneedit table which is the blue table. Have the bike on and connect the PC/laptop to the bike. At the bottom of the blue table screen you'll have the throttle position displayed. It'll be very close to 0. Turn the throttle slowly until you hit close to your 5376rpm. Remember that this is a throttle limiter, not a rev limiter. Once you have your TP, you can turn it off and disconnect.

With the red table you've posted, you'll want to find all the numbers greater than the TP you recorded and reduce them to the recorded number. This will include the lower rpms with higher TPs. Then save and reflash the bike with both the red and blue tables.

Thank you for the detailed response.

Why do I need to reflash the bike with bot tables if I only use tuneedit to find out the throttle position?

lets say the TP I recorded is 61 at 5376 rpm

Does this table look good? I changed every value greater than 61 and reduced it to be 61.

Regarding the flashing of both files; it's just the way TB works, when you flash, you have to flash both. When you get the flash screen it'll ask for the tune file (red) and ask if you want to add a trim file (blue).

If 61% gets to your target, then what you've shown looks like it will work. I'd be surprised if 61% only gets you that high with no load, but the theory is right. Keep in mind, I haven't done this, but as you're only changing the throttle position to lower values you aren't going to cause any damage.

thank you for the response.

I dont have any trim loaded on my bike as of now

I will read the TP for the desired RPM and report back on this.

the 61% was just an example..

btw do you know by any chance how to make the bike 'pop' on decceleration

That'll be a bit tricky. From what I understand, tuneboy disables the pair valve which would cause the burble. Your other option would be to introduce a ln air leak into the exhaust, but I don't recommend it. Someone else might be able to suggest something else, but I go the opposite way.

If you don't have a trim then you just flash the red. Sorry, most people running TB have a tune.

my exhaust is already cored but it only pops rarely
I will research on this and report back
