Hey guys, I have a Multi and not a 1199 anymore but the box and wideband are the same for TB....

I can't figure out how to do the free air cal.... The wideband cable has a square plug for serial in and out and the TB Box has two round plugs....and there is no adapter.

I plug the wideband into the bike O2 plug and connect my laptop to the box....TuneTrim works fine but it won't let me calibrate the O2 sensor through the bike.

Any suggestions or what am I missing?

Hi sorry can't help with yr question but I have also have a multistrada 1200ABS great bike this is my 3rd Multi!
I use multistrada.net it is the most wonderful forum, please introduce yourself there and post your question!
Also I am arrange the 1st international multistrada meet in the USA check out meets. Good luck

Right, I do need some help on this.....my wideband in free air is showing 10.3.....shouldn't that be 20:1 full lean?

I can't tune the bike until I resolve this. I can't ride the bike until I tune it (only as I already have all the wideband wiring hanging, zip tied, etc and really don't want to do the process twice).

Go to Innovate Motorsport. They should be able to support you since it's their equipment and wifi app.

I went to Innovate and ordered a 4 pin molex to 2.5mm patch cable so I can directly connect the lc1 to the ot2.... I'll let you know if it works. I am surprised that it doesn't come in the kit and I am surprised more people haven't run into this need.....

The LC-1 comes with the termination plug, cable (with an RS-232 serial plug, you'll need a USB-serial converter) and a push-button switch and LED.
However, you should be able to ground the black wire for 3 seconds and the thing will automatically free-air calibrate. Of course, the sensor has to be out of the bike.
The thing should be powered down before un-plugging and re-powered after being re-installed on the bike.
Read the LC-1 manual.pdf

well i just can't get this wideband to read anything but full rich in TuneTrim. it's calibrated but it won't read anything.

shouldn't it read 18 or something lean when it is hanging outside the exhaust??

I tune cars all the time so I am not sure what I am missing here. I feel like the plug must be wired wrong.
