I have a 23 SFV2, recently had my first service.
Even before the service I installed a Mivv exhaust and mwr filter. The bike ran great even after service.
I used BT-Moto handheld to obviously tune it properly and have that racing evo screen.
The bike runs like .... and throws codes.
Anyone else have issues?
I think bt-Moto has not response because I’ve gotten back 2 similar emails.

Naw, its better than the tune but its not normal.
She was flying before now shes gasping for air.

Do you know what codes its throwing?

I don't know how to make BT Moto answer emails. Its expensive, but you could bail on them and buy something else.

Its so bad i have my connector hanging out the seat, just so its easier.
P061a. When i look it up it about damn near everything.
BT- moto support isn't much help at all. They just keep saying they don't
mess with codes.
i want a refund honestly all around trash experience.
but im honestly not sure who to go to.Help?

Out of curiosity, did you remove the BBS fuse when you flashed it? P061A is a PCM error, which in Ducati speak, is the BBS.

I'd recommend @DeussenEngines or the Termi T800, but I wouldn't expect Termi's support to be super responsive should you run into a problem. My experience with DeussenEngines has been amazing.

I'd write the stock map back on the bike then have the dealer re-write the BBS software and check.

Yea but honestly on the 2023 it has 2 bbs fuses.
one is dedicated bbs 10a fuse
the other is dash and bbs 7.5a, remove that you cant write.
Im mechanically inclined ive rebuilt motors, had them tuned but never
encountered this problem.
Ive tried so much as far as loading on different settings, letting it run each time.
its once i ride, turn off and back on the light comes on, never during the ride.
She just bucks like a wild horse is my best explanation, no hype.
currently going back to stock.

Its has been over Christmas. BT could be out of the office. I had a ton of issues with my bt tune as well. They will work you threw them. It took a bit, but they got me threw my pain on my 22. Maybe the 23 is different? See if they will send you the same tune as they did me? My account with them is [email protected]

They respond, but not very helpful.tbh
im pretty much getting the ohwell run around.
Ill call tomm and see what we can figure out.
thanks tho, nice to know im not the only one.

P061A is a so called monitoring error. There is a secondary ECU software structure monitoring the torque delivery of the main ECU structure. Many changes in the main ECU structure will require also a recalibration of the secondary structure. It looks like changes have been applied in your tune that triggered the torque monitoring threshold. It can very well be that in one bike the tune runs without problems but in another bike you get a code and also a kind of limp home intervention that may make the bike run like crap. This is mainly due to some adaptive functionality of the idle speed controller.

Mines in no way perfect, but it an animal past 6-7k rpm. before that it feels kinda flat. Again what I feel is abnormal may be normal characteristics of the v4 motor. It is my first experience as I've owned all inline 4's to this point. Mostly BMW. I will say my s1krr seems to pull way harder then this bike does.

Thank you finally.
I couldn’t explain it but that’s it. Makes sense. This is what is going on. Everyone kept telling me that wasn’t true. It was me installing it wrong. I’ve done this on cars no issues. This is a nightmare.
You guys been the best help, thanks for helping me not go crazy.

I’ll email them and see.

Update:
So BT-Moto has been writing back. Even after 4 tunes my bike still isn't all there.
At this point Im kinda irritated.
They asked me to send them the bike for a couple weeks to make sure everything is "ok",
the guy who asked also said hes only going to be there for 3 weeks this month.
Week 1 is down already, it sounds kinda sketchy if you ask me.
opinion?

Did you revert back to the original map (which is always on the flasher) to confirm that the bike runs normally with that?

So you confirmed that theBike runs normal with the OEM map with no codes popping up. Then it is for sure an issue with the tuning map.

I wouldn’t take it to the dyno with a map that keeps throwing codes.

Yea I’ve gotten 4 tunes from BT-Moto non are good. The 4th hasn’t thrown a code but I feel the a/f ratio isn’t right. Holding throttle it goes up and down.
The guy is rude, he wanted me to ship it to him.
Like now but I don’t trust they actually do the work. They wanted the bike for weeks.

Well guys here's an update. @DeussenEngines fixed my tuning issue's.
Let me first start by saying this is, I'm not here to trash talk or to give a fake review for clout.

Like many you do research and look around for the best option out, so i thought.
Brent tuning (BT-moto) was everywhere on social media and YouTube, it seemed legit.
From the very first encounter i should've known.
Ordered the tuner, got to my house and still no email, called and then for some reason my purchase didn't ring bells
idk i was on the phone with them previously.
After explaining my issue to them, they told me they didn't mess with codes or really help at all.
I have the emails to prove it. After the holidays, finally got someone to help.
Although he was rough and rude. Plus i don't think he knew basic's, or have a good mechanic.
I'm a mechanic by trade i work in unalaska. so since they didn't want to look up the code my bike kept throwing,
they wanted me to explain it. Ok whatever i tried to simplify it best i could.
Well 3 tunes in and it was all the same. This is the messy part.
The guy tells me to send him my bike this is already end of first week Jan, and that he's going to need it for a couple
of weeks to make sure everything is ok. Then mentions hes only going be at that current location for 3 weeks. Well
week 1 was pretty much done already.
Basic math told me something shady was going on.
Huge thanks goes to @bp_SFV4, for pointing me in the right direction. (He warned me) smh
I found this place and right away @DeussenEngines knew my issue even posted information on it.
I sent that to Brent tuning and instead of looking it up they asked if i could enlarge the image. (holy crap).
Daniel from @DeussenEngines reached out to me on here and was the one with all the info, the level of passion,
craftsmanship, and actual commitment shows. He referred me to someone closer @RTBmotors, the same respect,
you can see they love what they do and actually know whats going on. They made the process so easy, literally 24hrs later
I had a new tune and even Daniel who's in another country and timezone, emailed me asap.
This is not a clout chasing post but please make good decisions on tuner's because you void the warranty.
Why would you want a company to act like its no big deal you investment isn't running right.
I almost died because of faulty tunes, I was left stranded because my ecu didn't want to turn on.
It's time we bring back the good guy's, people who actually do the work and stand it.
BEWARE OF FAKE TUNER'S LIKE BT-MOTO!!!
YOU MIGHT GET YOUR MONEY BACK BUT WHAT DAMAGE HAS ALREADY BEEN DONE?
I still have the BT-Moto tuner and tunes, plus email's to back my claims.
You will be able to see it online in about a week.

Huge THANKS to @DeussenEngines and @RTBmotors!!!
