U0323- Unknown device error

Ahh ! I was already trying to check can bus but unfortunately my meter stoped working giving me akward readings , i will bring another multimeter tmmrw and will go through can according to the wiring diagram, thanks !

So , had no luck with testing Can , everything found ok regarding the harness , check both Can H and Can L continuity , checked shortage between each other , check short to ground or short to positive , check resistance between all control modules , everythings seems fine , it looks like there is nothing related to the hardware !

But i have read about the fault patterns and i think if there is a faulty speed sensor the dash will prompt speed sensor fault rather than an unknown device , but i can do another thing with it to rectify if its a speed sensor , i will measure with multimeter if sensors are generating the Required AC volts while rotating the wheel. Lets see if it helps !!

Any ideas what it could be ? coz they all are connected on a very simple bus system so i couldnt see anything externally plugged into or in way to these modules . Is there anyway to reprogram them once ? because to me its looks like some software compatibility issue ,

Yeah so it goes back to why the ABS error popped up on the dash when there is no ABS in your loom so something either was changed somewhere or tampered with.

Has this message always been there? (Since you have owned the bike)
Yes from the day first it was there , i tried to contact the previous owner he said to me when he sold this bike to a local showroom these errors were not there at the time of selling .

They can be reflashed but you need the dealer tool and the firmware to flash it.
Yes offcourse an authorized dealer may have tool to reflash it , but iam talking about a shorter way because i live in a country where there is no ducati dealer or a workshop which have this kind of tool

There is a possibil

is there a possibility that some workshop freak tried to update the software or reprogrammed this system with a wrong version ? Which ended up something like this

Like Mick said, at some point the bike was fitted with a non standard component to that build. Dealership or identify which component and replace it.

I think can termination system are built-in each module which operates on Can bus

He's talking about termination plugs for where a device wouldn't be plugged in. For example, on the 2021+ V4 there are termination plugs in the connectors where the heated grips go, since they are installed from the factory.

Oh okay , no bro i checked the whole system with a help of a circuit diagram according to its model , and ive gone through every single pin !

thats a great point too but not quite what I meant. I don’t know if this applies to the Panigale but in some early auto can bus systems at the physical end of the bus line there was a termination block which had a simple resistor in it. Without it, communication was sketchy.
