You guys in the UK are sooooo lucky. Here in the USA am still in the dark. I just want to get my bike and not miss a trackday i planned for April 22nd. Need to start practicing for this racing season.

By all account, leeds 1st allocation is 5 no. Bikes. The bikes are not at dvs(?) yet, or leeds are not aware they are, ducati's uk warehouse, but said they will only get 3 days notice they are being shipped to the dealer. I have one of the 5 bikes, and am being informed definately within next couple of weeks !!!

No word from my dealer today, so it (S+ABS) will probably arrive at the dealer tomorrow. This is real ...... as I'm on a flight to Canada for 2 weeks at 8:55 Thursday morning. I'd have let someone else in the UK get a two week head start had I have known.
 
Dealer got the Demo (S) today, hoping to ride it next week. Customer bikes shouldn't be too far behind :)
 
exciting times ahead better dig out that insurance quote lets hope its nice weather at easter

Too right...funny how it creeps up on you even though we've all been waiting so long! Um....anyone wanna buy a 2005 'Blade??
 
See R&G have a decent tail tidy available. Need to get this sorted so dealer can fit, along with race seat and other bits & bobs.

if you ordered a tricolore you will miss track day by a week or 2:(
 
dealer rang me today, they got there demo in and im off for an open evening with them this friday night, i,l also book a demo ride hopefully next week.
 
My dealer rang me today also, they have just got their demo bike today as well. Still no sign of mine though :confused:
 
Yep - my London dealer received their S demo last night....customer bikes not far behind hopefully.
Been offered a test ride on the demo. The question is.....would you take the demo out for a ride, or wait for your own before sampling the 1199 experience??!

I told mine I wasn't interested in riding it even though its been glorious weather outside. I just want mine dropping of at the office a.s.a.p & leave me to get the 600 miles on it a.s.a.p so it can have its initial service and ready for track.
 
Don't go and see one in the flesh. I did today and it was fantastic makes the wait even more painful. Started it up and videos don't do it justice. Standard cans are really loud. Wonderful. Test ride tomorrow.

Its here! Went to see it this afternoon. Its sat at the dealer PDI'd with a SOLD tag on it.

Sadly no riding as I have to pack for an early flight tomorrow and then away skiing for two weeks. :mad:

I've checked my baggage allowance and 6 bags at 23Kg isn't quite enough. Not sure how the Supercorsas would cope on the piste either.

Same story down in San Diego as before...first customers bikes are arriving April 27th. Two dealers are having an 1199 premier to let people look poke and sit on them. At least multiple dealers in Cali are on the same page as far as their delivery dates so they must have received some good info from Ducati.
