Now just Waiting on my Ohlins FGRT203 Forks to come in. Ill post more pics and ride reviews Soon

Done the same to mine, the difference the shock made is night and say. Forks are good, but the Marzocchis are actually pretty good when they work.

What was the ohlins model part number and did you do the install yourself? if you did was it difficult?

I installed Part Number DU360. Not Difficult at all especially with After Market rearsets and Jack stands to support the bike. I use these Pitbull stands and sometimes jack stands to remove rear shock

I was looking online and saw that there is a DU 466 and DU 360 rear shock for the 1299. What is the difference between these 2 shocks? Is it worth going for the DU 466 over the DU 360 if the bike is tracked 5 to 8 times a year? Is there a big ride difference between the shocks or just adjustability?

The DU466 is the brand new one, 2018 model TTX-GP, the DU360 is the "old" one, Ohlins revised them this year. This is what it says in our dealer bulletin on what was changed:

"For 2018 Ohlins will be updating and revising the TTX GP product line-up.
Ohlins are continuously striving to improve their products on quality,
consistency and performance. From our latest research and development
we have made a number of component and setting improvements which
we have combined into the 2018 shock.

The TTX GP will feature amongst other things a new type of valve which
gives better feedback to the rider, also a new piston & piston band which
gives together with the new valves better grip, stability and feedback. The
new piston & piston band design also wears less than the current design
which gives a more consistent performance over a longer period
of time.

The new adjuster knobs makes it easier to makes changes on the fly with
or without tools compared to the current design."

So bottom line the DU360 is the one we've been using for several years, it works great, nothing wrong with it. DU466 is "latest/greatest". It's not as big of a change as when they went to the TTX-GP design from the standard TTX back in 2015.

I'm interested in the forks. I feel there is lots to gain off the factory/base.
