i don’t see why you couldn’t use the arrow without dB killers map. And all they’re doing is getting rid of the throttle delay and restrictions. According to Brandon at bren, i guess the code is real pain to get too and work with. This is probably why they have made it a premium tune. Bill says the bike is all over the road I’m running the performance tune and it’s spot on

How is the low end to mid now? Big difference? I'm looking for way better throttle response from 3k to 7k where they have nothing IMO

i didn’t take out the Lamba sensors btw. They told me you don’t really have too it’s for drivability below 7000 RPM, and they’re correct because it feels like the stock tune. Until you got wot, i was spinning in 2nd gear yesterday just messing around. I have a full review on Facebook let me go copy and paste it for y’all
 
Time for an update, I’m very impressed with this flash. Because on my monster it was a meh experience. But here holy .... Batman.
Pros
1) fixed the idle surge
2) much much much better throttle response and considerably smoother response
3) cold start up it’s now fixed
4) disable the exhaust valve so you can save money on a servo delete

CONS
1) the entire user experience and it needs to change ASAP. Nobody should have to blow them up just to the flash their bikes. This really isn’t acceptable
2) they fixed the quick shifter, but you will need to do a tire calibration I highly recommend you do. The guys on the panigale forums have issues if you don’t after the flash
3) the cost of getting another map they want 200 US dollars for a turq map, holy ..... This bring the entire setup near brentuning money. They need to Drop the prices is big-time

The flat spot is pretty much gone btw just bumming around it feels like the stock tune with the arrow system
Aka kinda rough it doesn’t bother me at all. But man the quick shifter is much better and it flys. I know bill is having serious wheelie issues lol

Me and bill at the moment are kinda the beta testers, i know i was the first one flashed. He had a lot of issues, they charged my card. It was a mess but it got fixed by Thursday morning. I highly suggested you get a BS email address to use for the upmap app because i had my monster on it and it was a disaster
 
Thanks for posting the dyno graph. I am Disappointed to see the dip in torque from 8-9k. Do you still feel that while riding? Did the wheel spin on the dyno maybe?
 
The SFV4S is clearly corked. The power increase of +40hp you've mentioned is probably more do to the poor throttle response:(

Compared to the new s1000RR our throttle restrictions are nothing lol

I know i keep blowing up this thread but i can on about tuning for days. I’d like to see upmap take cues from companies like Cobb and strafied. These guys let you pick and choice features you want in a tune. Instead of charging 200 euros for a map that’s just got it’s throttle restrictions removed. So let me give you an example of what i would do

you buy the upmap device and you get a base map free same as it is now but now you have add ons

1) performance fan curve 35 bucks
2) high tq tune 75 dollars
3) race gas tune 75 dollars
4) change you exhaust 25 dollars instead of charging for a whole new tune
5) adjustable launch control 25 dollars

the list can go on and on

and to be fair this would take a lot of R&D and they do a lot of brands but man would it solve a lot of the headache

Not really at part throttle the bike rips now. Remember I’m running the base map not turq map
 
I think it would be a really nice option to be able to assign the mtorque map on say sport mode and the regular performance map on street and race. Being able to switch to wheelie crazy mode in sport and smooth power in race on the fly with your thumb would be ideal.

thats Why i didn’t go with it, i do a lot of bumming around and highway pulls.until they do this 50 percent discount i could take less about the turq tune. But you’re right it needs to be in sport mode and use race mode for Liner power delivery

I have arrow slip ons that dyno is from upmap, stock exhaust with the turq tune

the result won’t be super impressive and remember you can really show throttle changes on a dyno unless they’re terrible like the new bmw lol

The Akrapovic DP map has pretty big flat spot on the top end in 4th gear from the YouTube dyno run I watched.

they suppress those ranges for emission and sound regulations

I thought emission and sound was at something low like 7500 RPM. I'm talking about a flat spot much higher, near redline that will show up in 4th on a dyno.

At high rpms most if not all manufacturers close the throttle or Exhaust valve for noise Abatement
