The Mtorque takes off the throttle restriction down low. If you freeze the video you’ll see the black line showing it from about 4k to 7k. That’s huge and just what this bike needs IMO. I should have my T800 in a day or two. Can’t wait to see how she rides after that. I have the full Akrpovic system with the up map and it’s no where close to how she should run.

I'll be interested to hear your thoughts on saving the Duc Akra map, switching to one of the T800 maps and reapplying the Duc Akra map.

I know they say you can save the current map and go back anytime, but if this actually works with the Duc Akra map also I may be in for a T800 as well... assuming it works on a 2021 SF that is

Yeah I have to see if I can find my AKR map up key to be safe. lol BUt I know I'll wind up loading it anyway. I'm really disappointed with how they bike runs right now and hoping this helps.

I'm not disappointed per say, but knowing there is more drives me nuts. I went way overboard on my 2nd gen Super Duke R unlocking all the torque and made it unrideable for the most part, having the SF a little more tame in the torque department is ok for me for now. lol

hahah that's funny I did the same thing to my 1290SD and then lightened her up big time and added BST wheels losing 17 pounds! But I have to be honest! I'm so in love with the torque of that motor! But the SF platform is way better for handling.

The Mtorque takes off the throttle restriction down low.

All the maps other than the stock one address the low end. This is reflected in every dyno chart in all of the videos which aren't the stock mapping. Below is a dyno chart from the Akrapovic video. The problem I see with this one is the big flat spot at the top end.

ETA: For clarity the faint red line is stock, the bold blue line is the Akra map and tested lower on the top end likely due to some electronic intervention or test methodology error.

Nope I have the Akra, and you have the same but going for the Arrow, perhaps I should wait then, feels weird to put Arrow map on Akra ;)

Small update.

I contacted UpMap and said that I wanted to try a map while waiting for the Akrapovic-map to be released.
I then asked which one I should pick? Which one was close enough to Akrapovic and then got the answer to pick one of the following :

Hi,
the map compatible with your motorcycle model is this:
With db-killer
SFV4 20 ARROW SD - UpMap - Next level for passion
Without db-killer
SFV4 20 D199 SD - UpMap - Next level for passion

And... when I asked what the difference between Akrapovic and Termignoni was they simply said that "Termigoni prefers low rpm" (end of quote).

So, I could not resist the feeling of waiting any longer, went to the garage and connected everything.
The connector was really easy to find, easy to connect the t800 with its adaptor-cable.
I was greeted by a green light letting me know that it was good to go!
I then logged in to the app, it asked if I wanted to connect and the simple question to that was - needless to say - yes.
A few next/next/next in the wizard and then it started to download the Firmware, probably about the longest 5 min ever ;)
After that... the phone sounded, gave me a prompt saying "Unable to start dialogue with device t800".

Since I have a lot of patience I tried 3 times before I got on the phone and called to UpMap in Italy - a bit short of patience suddenly ;)

I got some good help and after explaining what I´ve done, they simply said : "Have you disconnected Lambdasond´e? You need´a to disconnect´a the lambda (italian-english)".
I was like.... oooh, I missed that part and can´t remember me seeing that anywhere or in the video, however I can be quite stupid, and that was totally the feeling at that precise time.

So - How do I disconnect the lambda in the most simple way?

Wouldn't you just unplug the O2 Sensor? I'm pretty sure with my ARK map they shut them off. My T800 came in today and I'm dying to try it.

WAIT! I managed....

I looked in the FAQ and instructions and realized that I missed a part in the installation, tried again and YES! I now have "Racing Pro" in the display + an new mapping in the t800. So all is good, I guees also that the lambda should have been taken care of when installing the Akrapovic since a lot was removed (?)

I have no time to testdrive it but I will report as soon as it is done! Hope for some good weather and time off from everything.

Stay tuned...

Come on ya damn tease! LOL So you added the performance map right? And did you have the AKR full system and map or stock cans?

The O2 (lambda) sensors are still in place with the full Akrapovic system. There is one for the front cylinders and one for the rear cylinders. You will have to remove the lower fairing on the left side to get the plug for the front one. The plug for the rear is under the seat but you'll have to remove or lift the gas tank slightly to get to it.

I got my T800 in today and synced it to the bike. It’s a bit tedious be you don’t get any instructions. But it went pretty good. Once I got it synced I then downloaded the AKR map from the bike and loaded the Mtorque map for the term slip on without the baffling. I figure the full Akrpovic system flows better even with the dB killers in than the term slip on without the dB killer. Once loaded she fired right up. It could be in my head (hoping not) but the throttle response seemed bette. It was raining like hell out or I would have went for A ride. I’m so hoping she feels amazing but I’ll have to wait to find out.

Sounds great, I hope you will get rid of the rain so you can do your testride, I have the same problem, pitch black outside, a lot of rain. I´ll have to wait.

So I still need to unplug the O2/Lambda? I hade no warning lights or errors in the dash.

Ok, I guess it has to be done even though there is no warning light. I wonder why it´s not in the instruction? Or did I totally miss that part?
Thank you for the accurate description and how to locate/remove it.
