Having owned both of these, I can give a fair opinion. The RR was smooth and really fast, the gearing was spot on, too! You could literally use 2nd and 3rd all day. On the flip side, it felt heavier than what it was, the QS didn’t seem refined, either. I can honestly say the RR lacks soul. There is a certain feeling you get when you get on a duc. The RR is a great bike, it checks the boxes....the Duc is an awesome bike, it tugs on the heart strings....it has its quirks, but, it’s a joy to ride.

was waiting for u to say “my mirror snapped off”

looks absolutely stunning, still interested to hear how the stock V2 sounds now aday with euro5 and all

seriously tho, previous gen mirrors broke ez, be careful

Lol yeah I know about the mirrors. I put my lid up there very gently. I probably won't do that again either. Mirror block offs and bar ends are on my want list. Those factory mirrors are pretty useless anyway.

As to the sound, I was pretty surprised how good it sounds stock. Nothing will ever beat an aftermarket full exhaust, but stock its still throaty on wide open throttle and it burbles nicely on the overrun. The only problem I have with the stock exhaust is the fact it probably weighs 50 pounds.

the futurismo mirror block offs are the way to go, the bolts on my NRC rusted right away
Below is my bar end mirror, very premium feeling

Yep, futurismoto is the way I'll go.

I have some rizoma bar ends bookmarked. Apparently they attach directly to the stock bar end weights already on the bike. I think the crg bar ends require the adapter.

That's all down the road though. I want that tail tidy first lol.

the stock bar ends are better than the ones I have in there now, that’s awesome!

how abt a brake lever guard? These r the ones I got and they came with both bar ends which allow the mirror to mount nicely

Very interesting. I'll have to bookmark that as well.

haha look at the rizoma and Ducati performance ones $$$$$$$$$$

I was told that TWM manufactures Ducati Performance levers and other pieces but they don’t charge the Ducati tax

Just looking at Rizoma stuff makes my wallet cry lol.

Guess I better investigate TWM products.

there are plenty of ppl on here that go with Rizoma, they do produce very nice accessories. TWM is fine for me cause I’m working on building up the V4 fund haha

I got that one on my 1299, it’s special because there are no visible bolts. That’s what makes the Bose products especially premium looking: no visible screws
