Well, I think I answered my own question. There is a technical page on redlines website and it looks like the additives are the same. So I don’t think the label made any difference.

I’m sure it’s the same then, it falls under the powersports category, just the 15w50 bottle says powersports under it and the 20w50 says motorcycle underneath it. This is on the redline website under the powersports section.
Same exact formula as all the others. Youll be good to go with the 20/50 for a Duc V4 , just give it a bit more time to warm up as its thicker oil on startup.

If you notice the 20/60 , 20/50 ,10/40 and 10/30 also says "motorcycle" as these are popular manufacture spec oils weights for many motorcycle engines.

Yup, appreciate the insight. I didn’t realize there was a “technical info” page on their website.

@NYCV4S Are you ever gonna test the Amsoil 15w50 one maybe soon?
I had been using Amsoil for my other bikes in the past and having those samples tested , the oil was along the lines of OEM stuff being a Group 3 , non ester based oil & It had under 1000 ppm ZDDP in it. Not a fan of Amsoil , Great marketers for making their oil well known however.

My next oils to be tested is the Maxima Extra 15/50 and the Redline Powersports 15/50

Most all oil companies have these technical and safety data , they wont all show additive package PPM though. Ether have to email a rep or have it tested yourself. Redline lays it all out for us to see , which i like.
