V4 Panigale Clutch Fade Problems

I did notice today that the clutch does wobble quite a bit when the clutch is pulled in but not with the clutch out no wobble. I can’t remember if that’s normal honestly. I’ve never really paid that much attention to the clutch plates with the clutch pulled in. If it’s not normal would that maybe be causing the drag since the plates are not separating evenly?

But I am probably just going to drop the at the dealership it’s under warranty. It’s just that’s it’s an hour away is the pain.

That is not normal. It should run true at all times. You have an issue. Could be how you installed the bearing.

Oh it’s factory clutch that came with the V4R and still hasn’t been changed or anything. It started about a few weeks ago. So I changed the fluid because it was pretty black and that didn’t fix the clutch drag.

Here is video of what the lunch is doing. First one in neutral while pulling in clutch. Second clip is while in first gear.

Yup 2000 is average

When Reggie’s gets here we are going to do something about it

I guess everyone else is scairt...

Thanks for all the responses guys really appreciate it. I’ll get a clutch ordered my dumb ... though that when the clutch was shot it slipped under acceleration which it never did.

I will do it. I didn’t want to take to the shop cause it’s an hour away. Looks pretty easy seen the video online of the guy doing a conversion. Any tips I’m open to as always. But looks pretty straight forward.
Will you be renewing your clutch components or let the shop do it?

Sound. No oil contamination. Frees up a bit of HP. And very easy clutch disk replacement (10min job).

It’s not just the fibers and steels that wear out

The unit itself has wearable parts

A slipper requires regular maintenance
