Yeah an hour, but that didn't account for the software update they did and relearn procedure, I was there over 2 hours due to that part.

Just got the recall done, it took a hour or so. Shifting gears are much smoother now. I was the first to get the recall done.. they weren’t aware of it until I brought it to their attention, now several people are in line to get it done.

I performed the recall myself after ordering the kit from Ducati Omaha. Took maybe 20 minutes, but things are much quicker for me because I can just pop my race fairings off with Dzus fasteners in a few seconds.

My only concern is it routes all of the air that enters through the fairing cutout above where the kickstand is to the gear position sensor. I am not sure if any of that air was used to cool my cordona quickshifter unit. I also had to relocate the unit because it was previously right along the path the ducting system uses. I'm hoping the airflow entering around the crankcase cutout and the use of V4R fairings helps keep my cordona unit from melting alive.

So you bought it or they send it for free? Also did you had to do the relearn procedure, or it was just a swap of the old sensor?

I bought the kit from them for 68ish dollars.

A new sensor is not part of the recall. People with burnt out sensors are getting new ones + the recall, but if your sensor is working, there is no need to replace it. My sensor has never showed any signs of degradation so all it involved was installing the cooling conduit kit. The entire kit is one part number, so it comes with both halves of the plastic conduit, the small bolts that hold it together, new bolts for the rearset/kickstand bracket it attaches to + the bolts that screw into those to mount the conduit, and some padding you place on your fairings so it isn't plastic on plastic contact.

New sensor and cooling duct. No need to relearn procedure..

My 2020 PV4 quickshifter kept locking me out of gears. First DQS relearn failed, relearn again and it’s been perfect for over 1k miles. My vin is affected by CR200 and it we need a new rear tire.
These bikes almost always need a new rear tire and definitely always need the fluids renewed
2k miles: set of tires & renew engine oil & filter (and replace drain plug with fancy jewelry one from @Phl
Every 1k miles: renew front brake, clutch action and rear brake fluids

I do like your alternator/stator cover

I can see oil level but not so clearly.
Well worth the sacrifice, the air conveyer looks well designed, I sure do hope it’s effective. Also kind of hope I can get a new GPS while the recall is being carried out.
Next up Cordona or HM quickshifter upgrade

Of course this goes right where I mounted the cordona Quickshifter module. Not sure i like the module mounted closer to the heat like in the picture above.

Waiting to get my bike back from the service to look at it but couldn't you route the cordona module into the conveyer to keep it cool as well?

I scooted mine rearward so it is now sitting where the rubber wire band is in that above picture. Secured it in place with zip ties since less of the sticky material is in contact with the bike. Was not willing to put it on the backside of that piece for the same reason, don't want it closer to heat. Might wrap some heat tape around it as well, not sure yet.

I have a 2019 and have had issues with the gear position sensor. Mine did not fall under the recall, but I ordered all the parts previously shown and installed them myself. Not a big deal, pretty straight forward. The only issue I had was the new updated sensor for the 2020's has a different connector and will not fit the 2019 harness. I was kinda wondering when I ordered it, because I had bought a new sensor to fix my original problem, it was around $250, the new updated one I bought for around $100. Just a heads up for the guys with the older ones. I would have to have a look at the wiring diagram and see if its possible to just change the connector on the bike side and make the new updated one work.
