V4 RECALL

Just had the gear position sensor replaced under warranty, disappointed it seems to be exactly the same as the two previous sensors. Although, the air diverted might help?

The quality control is not a factor anymore the factory has set everything up to fail so for all the new guys buying these bikes ditch the extended warranty, stock up on spare sensors, wiring harness's, ecu's, bbs's, fuel pumps, dash's, starter motors, etc and tons of other parts you will eventually need it.
 
My philosophy is skip the extended warranty and when the factory warranty runs sell the bike and get a new one. Who wants to wait forever for parts or warranty authorization
 
At the dealership this week they told me about the GPS recall for my 2020 but are still awaiting parts to arrive in Sydney from Italy. I don't have any problems so far so no rush to get it. But our Summer has only just begun after a very mild (and wet) December.

The bolts that attach the kickstand to the bike are swapped out in the recall with bolts that have threaded heads for an even smaller bolt to be put in them. So, you replace the bolts holding the kickstand and then bolt the little ones holding the conduit to those.

Wonder how many of these mental blank spots I’m gonna have? Been a lil longer than a month and I’m smoked outta the game. Can’t wait to see what your bike looks like all personalized. The first white and blue v4 : )
