Will do, I'm hoping our track will open up soon, but I have a few parts to make first, I'm making a titanium axle next week and new swingarm pivot, I will upload pictures when finished.CMCs on the road bike. LMK how you like the Sicom. Id put then on the "off road" bike

I looked at making the rear out of titanium but the stock one is actually quite light so couldn't justify it. But they definitely look goodGot front and rear if you need one. Also have the swingarm pivots

The one they make for MV is 1900 euro which is about $2000.Hi Endodoc,
I am curious, How much is the cost of this Titanium Rear Axle? This made by BDS in Germany?
The one on the picture above is for the 1299, right? and the 1299 have the same rear axle as the V4?
It's the same one as the picture below that you post on the RCS thread, right?
and last question, what is the differences in weight compare to the standard steel axle from Ducati?
We know the factories have to save money somewhere. If they didn't they would price themselves out of the market. If we did get a carbon or ti one made how much weight would it save for the cost. The combined weight of the axle, magnesium hub, machined caliper bracket, P2 24 caliper, Sicom disc and a lightweight flange and sprocket adds up to a pretty substantial weight savings not to mention quite a leap in quality of components. This is also sprung weight. The weight is a component for sure but the primary focus for me was quality and precision of components. As you might have guessed Im not a big fan of the OEM hardware. This is what Ducati is giving me for a fan on the V4. Seriously, the bracket looks like it came off of a Chinese hood fan for stove. This is just not acceptable on a premium brand bike.

Correct These are made by Daniel at BDS I do not sell these or make any money off anything. I usually order 10 units at a time (front axles and rear) front axles are a copy of the Fast Frank axle. My cost at volume is 1400.00 for the rear axle. I had Daniel deviate a bit from the original in the flange are for added durability and the drive pins are Ti as well. Not sure of the weight as I have not weighed them. Again ground up build so its just what I use. I buy in volume so i can get better pricing for my own projects

You need to take some of the current Japanese bikes apart you'll flip. BMW is probably the best quality wise id say.HK very valid point for sure, however fan bracket threw me a bit.
I went with apex racing development light weight 3 button starter switch. Thanks for your offer on the ducabike unit. Should have it soon Ill post some picsagreed
