Looking into SLIPONS for the V4S

mainly for sound reasons, but making some power is also cool

Does anyone have the FM PROJECT SLIPON?

Or the arrows?

Or any other that they can recommend ?

I might have to sell my Akro if I am not able to get just the header.

im 99.9 percent sure you cant get just the header. e4 regulations state that the exhaust has to be one solid piece. its not like the old days where the CAT was clamped on and you remove it with a link pipe. now its one solid piece so you cant remove the CAT.

i for one dont understand getting a slip on and leaving the CAT

Because some people just want a noise upgrade for their bike that has more than enough power for what they need. And some countries have crazy fines for removing cats.

slip on vs full Akropvic

slip on specs Akropovic 96481391A

Power at mid-range RPM: + 4%
Torque at mid-range RPM: + 4%
Power at Max RPM: + 4%
Torque at Max RPM: + 4%

full exhaust specs Akropovic 96481382B

Weight reduction [kg] 5.5
Power at medium rpm [hp] +6%
Torque at medium rpm [Nm] +6%
Max. Power [hp] +6%
Max. Torque [Nm] +6%

I didn’t install myself

But the shop told me they just had to loose one header to get the stock exhaust off

Definitely not as complicated as full exhaust

The dealership only did slipons and I want the full exhaust. I am not able to just buy the header like you used to be able to. So that why I'm saying I have to sell mine and looking at different options as well.

I am happy with the Akra slip ons. I felt the power gain right away.
