First service on Sat. Having Termi's installed and getting taller windscreen and comfort seat. Then we RIDE!

Headed to Deals Gap (I hope), so she get spread her wings.

Too bad I tore my MCL over the weekend on the dirtbike to really play.

Riding ofcourse and then the first wash. I've tried to keep it clean and given it a few wipe downs but the dust here is terrible, so time to get her wet.

I've reached the magic 2500km/1550miles last weekend so I'm now free to open her up! I'd been opening her up a bit more slowly anyway.

Managed to get her to 297 km/hr/ 184.5 miles for just a few seconds last week. So this week I'll be hoping to reach --- ;) Opportunity/safety allowing.

It looked like it still had plenty of power left at 297 but I could tell I was catching my lead rider and he was starting to slow down, so I had to also. Obviously the current temperature here is not favourable, and I'd get a better result in winter but even then I'm pretty confident of reaching 300.

Before people call me irresponsible Pls note I fully agree with everyone regards racing on public roads etc. I'd never attempt to do it on a public road with traffic.

However our roads here are a bit different and there are actually roads that pretty much lead to nowhere, with no traffic on them, wide 2 lane new asphalt with wide shoulders and run off, built just for the hell of it, or to keep certain companies busy. I also ride with my DOC, have a lead rider out front as scout(camels!!!), and will have several certified First Aiders with me Just incase.

Saturday

Suit up early am for the 2.5 hr ride to Recline Performance Motorsports Yorktown, VA to conduct first service, have every piece of DP carbon, tail tidy, tall windscreen, and with hope BST carbon wheels put on my Tri. Once complete run it on dyno to see what my numbers are, suit back up, plug in the Van Halen and rip the .... outta the highway on the way back home!

Sunday will be a day of rest by the pool and reflection on all the frigging money I just dropped the day before!!!

Let me know how Redline does on your first service. My first service will be performed by them as well. Funny that you have to ride 2.5 hrs to them. I do too, but coming from the opposite direction. Seems Duc needs more stores.

hey bro pls send me a PM with your contact info ok> im in a rush or would myself, thx!

Hopefully, I will be sending the wife to her mother's for the week end, so I'll break my Pwahnigaleh in.

I am going to ride it like there is not tomorrow at the track! I am psyched and shakey already from all the fun im gonna have this weekend.

Wait a Min

From this ....to this

I am confused now. You took the red bike and painted it to look like the Tri? Did you use Tapeworks or had it painted? Or did you just trade the other one in for the Tri? Never got the brand of wheels there either?

So many questions!! lol

But made my decision to go with the carbon BST's , I think. Just hoping they can get mailed to shop by Sat!

He ordered the Tricolore bodywork from Ducati before he got the bike and just swapped it all over, except the bottom piece I think. So it's genuine Ducati bodywork and not a paint job or tape.

How did your second track experience go? Positive?

Just had my first service yesterday at 706 miles. Got the brake fluid reservoir bolt shortened - thanks to those who spotted this.

Been sneaking up past the magic 8K rpm - completely different power delivery. The noise is incredible.

Couple of things - what is a DOC? (Sorry if I'm being thick here).

Was your top speed indicated speed or GPS confirmed?

Surprisingly, we don't get many camels here in the UK but there are a lot of deer and foxes.

Very well sir! Other than the bike needing badly to be resprung for my size, it is a monster on the track. More than once I had the front wheel skipping along while leaned over when the power 'hits'. Goes like stink, stops just as quick, and changes direction faster than my '06 Gix6. Whats not to love?!

Also, the induction/exhaust roar at full steam is intoxicating (Full system).

Nice! I can only imagine how your sounds - it sounds awesome with only the slip-ons.

Mine's sitting in the garage. We're on our third or fourth straight week of rainy , crappy weather. If I hear ONE more person say " Well , we really need the rain . " I'm gonna go postal on their ass !
