What compound on D211s?

For those of you running dunlop D211s, what compound are u running?

Whatever compound the guy I'm buying take-offs from is running? :p

Not a lot of answers from the forum...I think mine are medium compounds, but I just switched to 211's from SC1's, so I'm still getting a feel...and have almost out-grown take-offs :-/

Curious to see if anyone else has a response.

All depends on what track you are running at... Homestead and PBIR here in Orlando you can run medium, homestead you can run soft, Jennings you need to run medium +.

I would just call the tech line and ask them, they will tell you what to run at each track

I called Dunlop and was recommended to run the GPA Pros now. I've only run Pirellis, but wanted to try Dunlop to see if I could get any more life out of my rears. I was told to run medium+.

Most of the guys I know who run Dunlop rave about the Pro's. I'm always a little skeptical b/c I think there's a lot of "placebo effect" when it comes to tires.

At a minimum, the Pro's are reversible (per the Dunlop rep that came to speak at NYST last year)..a big plus if you run on a track that causes uneven tire wear. I've always been told not to flop the 211's....Always flopped my Pirelli's.

The take-offs I got are a mix of 211's and Pro's, but I've been waiting for a race weekend (and to have my suspension issues sorted out) before trying the Pro's.
