Watching Jonathan Rea catch highsides is exactly why everyone should ride dirt bikes first. In the dirt you're constantly losing one end or the other. Snapping the bike upright and letting it run off when you need to becomes a muscle memory thing. Wet grass or mud on slicks don't slow down.
I grew up riding dirt bikes in heal Ohio, then didn’t ride any bikes for 25 years until I was nearly 50 years old and bought this V4 and started tracking it, I was very suprised that even after 25 years the 1st time the rear end started slipping at the track on the Superbike my decades old muscle memory just took over and managed it.
