Damn thats the business right there. Awesome shots. I wish I could muster some skills like that. I think I will stick to building and dreaming. Nicely done.

I'd definitely get something to cover that tank, the corners at least. One low side was all it took for me and I clipped it. Everything else was relatively simple and cheap to repair/replace except the tank ( £2000).

For the sake of a couple hundred bucks you'll regret it if you don't

I bought a spare used tank for £400 (still put some sliders on though).
All of my original bodywork is lovingly wrapped up in the attic now the bike is 100% track.

I do have sliders but dont have a spare used tank. When a good deal come by, I need to get one for sure.

My OEM R fairings been since new and it has 3M films on it, so its super new in the box. :D

I do have sliders but I understand that doesn't protect the tank completely. Used spare tank is a must for sure in whatever color. :D

This is what I have done so far. I still have some mods/parts but I just haven't had the time to put them on.

Looking great younR!!! What were your lean angle readings?

My max is 55 degree.

Interesting enough, I've learned that when I drag Elbows, I'm not leaning more "for say." It was ALL about my head positioning. When you tilt and lower your head farther (almost to a point where you cant go any more), I started to drag Elbows.

I was doing 55° on Saturday also. Maybe it's time to step up to a set of slicks LOL.

Thamer. Bike looks great. Very tasteful. First how do you like the Boost wheels? Im on the fence about grabbing a set. Second, the Termi. I like it. What do you think so far? Nice work man

Yes, very interested to see how you like the Termi.

Where did you get those tank protectors?

I got the tank sliders from zohsix01 here on the forum. I got the Termi exhaust from him as well. The price was so good that I began to wonder if the exhaust systems he sells fall off the back of trucks...lol.

First, I love the exhaust. I picked it up from zohsix01 here on the forum. The sound is much more old style Ducati. Supposedly it is 7 pounds lighter than the OEM exhaust. The heat is different. It seems to take slightly longer for the engine to get to supernova hot. Also where I feel the heat is different. The right hand side near the thigh is wear it will cook you if you putt around town. On the track or a pace it is a non event as far as the Panigale goes.

The wheels,...The bad is I cringe every time I have to change tires. Also I got Matte Which looks good but I would have like to have seen the gloss in person to decide. Handling is now nervous. I got to have track time with the head of CSS, Middle East and Micheal Pirro and they both recommended DTC 3 and DWC 3 to stabilize the ride (and even in Base form they both said my lap times would drop quite a bit). It did. in High speed turns, (160 KPH Plus) you don't pull the bike, you think it and it happens...much less effort. My rear suspension works better without having tuned it to the weight difference. The front I'm still playing with.

Overall, I like the choice I made. Pricey, but worth it. I think over time they will hold up better to road and track conditions than Magnesium would.

P.S. Between the exhaust, wheels, and Li Battery I'm within 15 pounds of the 1299SL and I still have $50K to play with...lol.

Excellent write up. Thanks for the feedback. So 500 bucks to Fox to take a couple of lbs off the crank, CMC rotors, rear Ti axle and your within 6lbs and you still have 40k and change left. Again looks superb.

Thanks for the feedback on the Termignoni underseat pipes. When you note it has more of that old style Ducati sound--do you mean it has more of that deep thumping v-twin "boom?" :)

Not "as deep" but not pinggy like the current set up. I'm currently on vacation and not with the bike. I will try and post a sound clip for it.

Are you running with or without db killers?
I have decided to stay with them in for the majority of the time. I have 2 maps,
and the "in" map has better mid range, where the "out" map has about 7 hp
more at the very top end.
