There is enough strength/flex to just tighten the bolt home.

As already mentioned though, they have a slightly different angle than oem. I kept getting
them caught in the plastic ankle armour on my dainese boots, so used different heel
plates in the end.

I had Sidi Vortice boots and would get them caught in the heel guards sometimes. I just have the stock OEM rearsets and DP Carbon heel guards.

I changed to the Sidi Magnum boots and no more problem.

Apologizes for big pics.

I finally installed a AEM fuel cap in black to match the black Ducati Coarse rear sets and the black Speciale rims I added

Been throwing parts on for a little under a year. Don't get to ride too often but I also get enjoyment from wrenching on it. exhaust and some bst's are still to come. cnc left handlebar switches is on the way.

Installed race seat, pulled Akra map off the bike and flashed Tuneboy map+trims.

Upgraded to DTC EVO.

Running full Akra I'm so far not particularly impressed with the Tuneboy compared to the DP Akra map. sure the low revs are far smoother in gears 3-6 but I feel I've lost a lot of oomph in 1-2 gears, especially off the line.

The linear torque power mode seems to cut the torque in range 3-5K rpm which isn't to my liking.

Need to play around with it and see if I can find the best trim for the bike. Any suggestions are very welcome. There isn't a functioning dyno in my area at the moment, so garage tuning is all I have access to right now.

Just ordered Armour bodies Pro Series race body and belly pan and a Zero gravity Corsa wind screen for my 2015 1199r

Just started pulling off most of the aftermarket parts from my 1199S, as she will most likely be going up for sale soon.

The Armour Bodies was very nice. Fit great and needed hardly any prep before paint.

Thats why i went with Armour Bodies - they are now Distributed through Woodcraft, who runs Penguin Racing School - I have been riding in his classes for the last 6 years. All my rear sets, clutch covers and bar end, sliders have been his on all my bikes.
I am hoping to get it painted this season, not sure - it should be on the bike after next weekend. How did the belly pan fit?

The bellypans were designed for the Termis, not the Akras.
They have to be modified for the Akras.
You'll have to notch them to go over the Akra front mounts. Also a small notch in the left rear corner.

Put the throttle spacer kit on. The tri bit nuts would not play ball but didn't need them off, ie can do the job with just the 2 longer black bolts.

Haven't gone for a ride yet but the slack seems to be completely gone based on wiggle at rest.
