Hey Don was that a stolen motor?
Naw man, not only do I not steal... I am a man of my word these days. And when I see that I am in the wrong I admit it quickly and ask what I can do to make it right

Try it sometime - feels good to not have to be looking over ones shoulder constantly. That’s no way to live brother

I try to live by Spiritual principles and trying to forgive you for shorting me. I keep saying “Bless him - change me” in my head but all I can think about is that line from American Psycho

Nothing. Dude was asking where to get a fan. How does that one you got work?
I’m just kidding.my new aluminum shroud and fan work perfect plenty space around this big ... pipe and I move starter relay with all those wires next to the battery.all underneath where original shroud was it’s empty.thank all you and Mick1976 for walking me tru Took little to make this thing all work just it’s done now.I hope this thing now not gone catch fire.

Don WTF is with that shop you’re in? You are truly the Fred G Sanford of bike building
Well it started out as a tent lol. You know my neighborhood all double size lots with tiny house’s from the 50’s. My buddy build a twin turbo 400” small block powered 911 Porsche under the tent and then we acquired a mill a lathe tig etc and we just put fiberglass on the tent poles lol. It’s just a work shed but a lot of cool stuff has come outta it : )

Today I got a hundred thou detent spring. Blueprinting the transmission is something I do to all my bikes. Not just Input and output assemblies but the drum and the forks too. Always makes a big difference. I’m not trying to win any championships but even for a street bike I feel this is important. Stiffer detent combined with blueprinting = lots less chance of false neutral which could attribute to a crash if it happens while downshifting and is not good for the rods (or my nerves) if it happens while (or after) upshifting. My R popped down into 5th from high gear once (pinned) and once was all it took for me to wonder every time thereafter if it was gonna do it again.

Forget about it...

*ps - installing a RS trans door might look cool but shims n springs is how you get the quickest most positive shift : )

Did this to my CBR before and undercut it. Smooth shifts for sure

A tiny mod & a tiny tool today. Throttle spacers
Didn't have the tool to remove the tri-wing screws & I didn't want to wait for a week delivery, so I made the tri-wing driver from an IKEA tool, that's now a Ducati tool ;P
(that has a surprising amount of carbon in that steel you can see from the star-bursting sparks in the grinder photo)
Shrink-wrap trick I saw on the forum on the stopper tabs. Seems to work perfectly. 2 layers on the small tab, ~.8mm; 3 layers on the large tab 1.4mm.
It's gnat's ... to perect, slop gone, but no extra tension.
