That’s exactly why the extra foam latte is important during break in, it captures the grounds
Foam lattes also seem to occur during smackdowns and canyon pink slip racing

Here is the oil from my V4S after track day in March:
Not sure if those particles are clutch material or what. Didn't beat on her too badly either. Started looking for a replacement engine on Ebay just to make me feel better about the next oil change after upcoming track day in Sept.
Did a wonderfully gentle break-in during pandemia and also vigorous oil and filter changes. She only has 9k on the odometer and no launching or over-rev hooligan stunts. Adhering to break-in procedures is calming to the nerves, but having spent a lot of time on the Autobahn wear and tear is wear and tear on parts.
Got to invest in an engine stand I guess for my upcoming adventure with this platform.
Run a magnet around in there before you pour it out. BTW the metal silts out but the little stuff takes a while.. Or spend the money on an oil analysis before you start looking for another motor. 9k is nothing on nickasil. Plain rod bearings last a long time as long as there's oil pressure. Or if you're bored blueprint that one. And if you must blow by AMG's on the autobahn you can actually buy a 17 tooth front (and allegedly an 18 front but I've not found it maybe ducati corse).
I'd pop off the clutch cover and inspect. I'd look for some peace of mind if that stuff came out with the oil. Maybe consider a flush too.I would but I live in Arizona now and the Autobahn where I last lived in Stuttgart is a parking lot most days. I agree that the bike should be fine I took my finger to those gold bits and they fell apart almost like sponge material. Probably clutch material really. And yes Nikasil is some strong stuff (Nickel Silicon Carbide) been familiar with it since my days with Suzuki bikes. Nikasil - Wikipedia
I love this platform and since it's my 4th Ducati we are in it for the long term regardless of my old fashioned turn of the century break in.

Just checked the log...All ok!!!

You sure your valves weren’t loose?
Baggerman, Yea I lived in CoS, Monument, Golden and Evergreen off-and-on for 15 years or so. Lot's of time on the road from Delores to Telluride and Million Dollar Highway etc. However, seemed there were tons of Troopers everywhere! The road to Creede is incredible and the Wolf Creek Pass route is another great one. I used to skinny over to Boulder Canyon and Left Hand Canyon when I was living in Jefferson County CO. And the route from Ft. Collins up into Rabbit Ears Pass and the back way from I-70 into Steamboat Springs is another great ride.
I'm splitting my time now between Scottsdale and Sierra Vista so I get lots of seat time with my 901 Norden in the Huachucca Mountains and we have Inde Motorsports Complex an hour away. Did 191 and Alpine over to Glenwood NM in May. Just outstanding routes and even though the roads here can be a bit choppy in places. I don't ride in the valley from Late May into Late September so I mainly stay in Sierra Vista as the temps are 20 degrees cooler but lots of Troopers and LEO's as this area is crawling with drug runners, smugglers etc.
Here is a pic taken from the south side of the Huaccuca Mountains looking into northern Mexico.
